The V7 Stone doesn’t have that kind of pretension, but the entry-level model in the Guzzi lineup is also the most accessible option in the 105th Anniversary collection.

Yes, Moto-Guzzi turned 105 in 2026. The company founded by Giorgio and Emanuele Vittorio Parodi, Giovanni Ravelli, and Carlo Guzzi would leave its mark on the motorcycle world as a whole with some iconic models. The first V7 from 1967 was one of those defining moments. Today, the V7 is a more laid-back classic roadster, yet one not without charm.

It is up to this model —along with its cousins, the Mandello, Stelvio, and V 85—to pay tribute to the brand’s long history. To that end, it is adorned with an exclusive gray paint scheme finished in a glossy pearlescent sheen. On the fuel tank, in place of the traditional eagle with its wide-spread wings, there is a special “Moto Guzzi 105th Anniversary” graphic on each side. The anniversary year is also featured on the rear wheel rim. The seat has been upgraded with a row of yellow topstitching but does not feature the embedded eagle, unlike the other “105” models.

This special edition hits the market in October. Anyone who has seen—or will see—Guzzi’s new factory will quickly notice the connection between the anniversary color scheme and the hub of the Mandello del Lario complex. It will be available until the end of 2027—with its timeless look, its 67 ch twin engine with that unmistakable character, its speedometer that’s completely out of sync with the overall design, its not-quite-useful electronics (2 riding modes, traction control, cruise control), its shaft drive, and above all, its take on time and the joy of riding.
