moto-Guzzi returned to the market in fine style with its V 11 roadster. This Le Mans version further affirms the Italian brand's revival. With this machine, Mandello's eagle spreads its wings in beautiful ways. More cafe-racer than sports bike, the Le Mans is a beautiful creation that's a pleasure to behold. The eye scrutinizes the curves, lingers on details, shines on certain achievements. The finish is very flattering, carefully matching the deliciously retro lines and tinged with a certain majesty. There's no Japanese slenderness here; Guzzi maintains its personality, its identity as a highly singular sports car. For her, there's no chasing the stopwatch. Its charm is deeper, more sentimental, more expressive. In its bowels lives a twin-cylinder engine that doesn't care about extreme performance. It's all about big torque and the sensations it instills in the rider. Traditionally and eternally Guzzi, this transverse twin with fuel injection and 2 valves per cylinder suits the Italian perfectly. The mill's high inertia pushes you along like a big, wise but powerful muscle. It's a pity that a mid-range dip disturbs the effort of the big guns.

with its new, prestigious livery, the V 11 had to do justice to its handling. With this in mind, the frame was reworked and the wheelbase modified. The progress made is clear. The bike behaves beautifully in curves, proving to be easy to handle and precise, but a little harsh on the suspension. When you're riding, you don't have to worry about the universal joint transmission or the clutch-selector assembly. Perfect for enjoying the pistons beating. Only legs that are too bent over might grumble as they flush the edges of the fork head. Your posterior may grumble at the moderately friendly saddle. A ride on a Ducati 900 SS will make your bottom realize that the V 11 Le Mans isn't all that stiff.

bought used. a breathtakingly beautiful marvel torque power chassis everything is perfect that's it i met the love of my life after 14 months together including 9 months in the garage. i don't have the space to detail everything that went wrong but already 3 clutches in 30 000. quickly resold on boncoin Rating : 3/5

I'm on my second V11 Le Mans, and they're by far the best bikes I've ridden (for 35 years, so that's a few...). I ride them every day in all weathers (80 kms/d). The gearbox spring can be changed as a preventive measure, it's simple and doesn't cost much. For the rest, you also need to change the regulator as a preventive measure. Rating : 5/5

65,000km and not too many problems: front and rear wheel bearings, starter and a few electrical quirks, blistered paintwork, of course!
Otherwise, it's a pleasure to ride, especially on small roads where the engine's power can be fully expressed.
As far as I'm concerned, it's a good bike, full of character and looking great!

150,000 with a 2002 Le Mans, the engine paint is still there, I've never broken a return spring, the mechanics have never been touched apart from the maintenance I do myself!
It's not like I'm dragging my feet, but I respect the mechanics

French inconsolab Model 2001
I've been driving a Guz for 12 years now, but I've had to give up this model because of the inconvenience caused by the black paint on the bottom of the engine, which pulls out. According to the dealers, this is a loss of value at resale, and it started 6 months after I bought it new in 2002, then all sorts of other problems, and now it's almost impossible to resell it, I almost have to give it away, even if I take back the Bréva 1100! The dealer tells me it's been driven too much: 35,000 km! I'm fed up with being taken for a ... and yet I loved this engine..
Guzzi, if you neglect your customers, you'll soon have none left!

An endearing motorcycle with an awesome engine and superb looks. However, beware of the weight when stationary and the questionable reliability. On my 2002 model, 4 broken gearbox return springs without GUZZI deigning to solve the problem! distressing Rating : 5/5
