VOXAN 1000 CAFE RACER
after the fun and playful Roadster, Voxan lets loose with the Café-racer. A mixture of curves in a "post-modern 60s projected into the year 2000" style, the design surprises, shocks, confuses, leaves no one unmoved and shares opinions. The chassis is that of the Roadster, with a few subtle changes: the gearing is longer, which affects performance a little, and the wheelbase is longer. As a result, the Cafe-racer is a little less agile than the Roadster, with the benefit of more pronounced stability. The Voxan engine reinforces the identity of this unashamedly conceptual machine. A 72° twin, full of torque and good humor, as smooth as it is powerful. On board, you'll find yourself wavering between comfort and sport - the protection is correct up to 160, and the seat is generous in foam but narrow and unwelcoming for the passenger. If the look inspires the sportiness of yesteryear, the driving position is that of today's sports bikes, with a pronounced pressure on the wrists.

Forget luggage and certain practical aspects. The oddly shaped fuel tank is topped by a pretty cap that unfortunately lacks a hinge. No clock and a single partial lost in an all-analog dashboard. You'll go so far as to complain about the turning radius... and then you'll forget all about it as you're overwhelmed by the machine's handling. The suspension works efficiently, without forgetting comfort, and the brakes offer a good feel combined with progressive bite and efficiency. The finish is top-notch, much better than on the Roadster. With muscle, timeless charm, quality and the "French touch", the Cafe-racer has the power to inspire both those who ride it and those who envy it.

French dede Model 2010
after 20 years of kawas and japanese bikes, i had to watch out, because at the time, the brakes and roadholding weren't top-notch, and at 40,000 kms, it's dead, all that's left is the credit. after that, i switched to a bm, much better for my wallet and my safety and comfort, but pepere, i wanted a lively ducati-type bike, and i met some voxan anchantes owners, i crossed France to look for it, a 2001 cafe racer 13,000kms, plum color, it's dynamite, I love it more and more, I'm almost 60 and I ride like a moron, full throttle, a ducati a la francaise, but more solid, I'm glad I bought it, there are very few more, in plum it's magnificent, great bike, bye Rating : 5/5
French Chris Model 2010
I'm rediscovering it, about 10 years later ... Still as beautiful as ever. I ride a GT (metro, work, sleep in IDF), I've never understood why Voxan hasn't released a simple GT, with belt (like Guzzi Norge), when you see the number of BM RTs riding in IDF, you think there must be a place for a French bike. Maybe one day ... Rating : 5/5

I would have loved to have seen my tax dollars go into making this beak beautiful and good. Respect to those who have fought and those who are still fighting to bring it to life and (alas) keep it alive today. R.D Rating : 5/5

Fallen under the spell, there's no other word for it. I'd been buying Japanese 4-in-a-row bikes since I got my driving licence, and I couldn't understand the appeal of a twin, or the obscure reasons why twins are often proportionally so expensive. Then I was lucky enough to bump into a friend who owns a cafe racer, and that's when I understood. The pleasure of riding it is indescribable, and I'll steal it as soon as I get the chance. It's clear, this is the next one. Rating : 5/5
French Axel Model 2005
It's true that the bike isn't cheap, but I personally think that given its qualities (I haven't tested it myself, but the press is unanimous) and its exclusivity, the price isn't outrageously high

The look of the machine is unique and, in my opinion, extremely attractive
I sincerely hope one day to be able to ride a Voxan Café Racer (or Black Magic even better...) if the brand survives and if my finances allow (I'm still a student and currently ride an FZ6)

Stop saying that VOXANS are expensive, if you look at the classified ads, you'll find bikes at all prices.okay, to find a charade for less than €10,000, you'll have to wait a little.it's so French to find everything expensive, you want to pay for everything and nothing. i'd point out that ducati, bm, ktm, aprilia etc... have 1000cc3s with prices higher than VOXAN, and I'm not talking about Japanese bikes
In any case, every time I talk to a voxanist, it's nothing but praise for his bike
So if I can afford it this year, I'll rob my banker
banker for a charade, otherwise I'd take a second-hand crème

French paulo Model 2005
if you find it expensive, you buy second-hand, for example I bought a 2005 cr 5000km in new condition for 8000€
for the price of a 750 jap I have a VOX it's still something else
a+

It's the least "retro" of the Voxans and the most powerful, my favorite!
For the curves and the big arsouille it's nikel! It's as good as a Japanese bike, and it's made right here at home!

French francois Model 2000
everyone thinks it's superb but no one buys one; too expensive?wrong, given the equipment, it's not more expensive than a ducat, plus it's French and works well
my future ?the charade

French margoullia Model 2000
a good bike that I loved (unfortunately I had to part with it). The chassis is excellent, the braking is top-notch, and the engine has good extension, although I do regret the kick in the ass on the mostro. The riding position is pleasant, neither too forward nor too upright, just right on all levels. The only problem I've encountered is with the battery, which I've changed 2 times in a short space of time (under warranty), but for do-it-yourselfers, forget it, everything's inaccessible unless you take it all apart. For me, it's the dealer who maintains it, and I can tell you that when the evo kit was installed, which requires the complete dismantling of the engine, no anomaly was detected. For those who have fears about the reliability of this machine, don't hesitate, treat yourself, because this bike is a real pleasure Rating : 5/5
French Serge Model 2005
Don't tell me that Japanese bikes are cheap! These Voxes are well worth a little financial effort to ride on a hand-made French bike (I have one). By the way, they would have been cheaper if the company had relocated... Help Voxan, and treat yourself! Rating : 5/5
French didier Model 2005
Here's a beautiful machine that stands out from the crowd, from the Japanese (aesthetics). I had the chance to try it out, and it was a real pleasure to ride. First of all, the finish is very meticulous, with good-quality plastic, Marzocchi inverted forks, Brembo brakes, flawless paintwork, Michelin pilot sport tires and aviation hoses.
On the road, it's a delight, with torque at every level and irreproachable roadholding. It bends into hairpins with surgical precision, the Michelin tyres give it diabolical stability and driving comfort, and the V2 provides rare sensations that are made in France, so there you have it
Its only drawback is its price: €12,400 (excluding registration fees). It's true that the quality remains and the price is forgotten, but still. So Mr Voxan, if you want to see more of your motorcycles on France's beautiful roads, you'd better get them at a less exclusive price

French mad_fox_3 Model 2005
It's a beautiful machine!!! Too typical for my taste.
It's stupid to say, but I would ride French, if Voxans were "less exclusive", closer to the needs of everyday bikers than Val-ross or terasses playboys..

And then, this price!!!!It's beautiful, but you can't push it!
For €11900 you can have a 1200cc Buell, and for €3000 less you can have a SUZ SVS-1000

When will we see affordable 500s, 600s or 750s? ????
Rating : 5/5
French Rubilski Model 2005
I couldn't agree more, Voxans are to be enjoyed without moderation. The problem is the price! Pffuit, 12400 €, do you have them ?? When, Mr. Voxan, will you have a 650 twin for less than €8000? I'm sure it would be a big hit. Rating : 5/5
