presentation of the F4 1080 CR PLATINO 2007
Does the F4 1000 seem a little too bland? No problem: the Motocorse workshops have taken a closer look at this Italian beauty and concocted a little preparation from behind the scenes. Name: Platino - Displacement: 1080. Those are the names.
An engine kit increases the stroke to 79 mm, giving a total cubic capacity of 1078 cm3. From then on, the doors to competition closed for the F4, but fans of the big potato now had more than 190 hp at their disposal. Torque takes a major step forward, jumping to 13.2 mkg. Do you like bikes that rip up asphalt? You're in for a treat.
A big herd of nags, we love - and noble materials everywhere, we love! The F4 1000 Platino is all carbon and titanium. I'm not going to list all the carbon parts... it's all there!
The brakes feature bronze-colored mounting brackets, with a complete all-radial brake and clutch assembly by Brembo. Forged magnesium Marchesini rims, an alcantara-covered seat, polished and anodized half handlebars, and under the elegant grey exterior, a complete titanium exhaust system, a special clutch and a dry weight reduced to 175 kg.
Now for the not-so-nice stuff: you can request this Platino preparation from a standard F4 1000 S and it will cost you "only" €45,000; or from a Tamburini edition, and the price climbs to €57,900.

it's true that the MVs are magnificent, frankly, even if I had the budget... (in my dreams)
i'd settle for a more "classic" version. Rating : 5/5 Respond to fck636
