presentation of the Brutale 1090 RR 2016
mV-Agusta has never been one to cut corners with its roadster. With every evolution, it's more watts, more thrills and more adrenalin with every burst of optimism. The second-generation 1090 RR is a perfect illustration of this, bringing the roadster closer to a veritable ground-to-ground missile.
within the range, the sport begins with the 144-hp, R-less 1090. At the top end of the range, this RR pushes the 4-cylinder almost to the level of a hypersport. So, roll up your sleeves, get your hands in the engine, and let's get some fire going. New camshafts here, redesigned intake ducts there, 49 mm throttle bodies with the same diameter as those on the 2012 F4 RR, and you're on your way to a 158 hp powder keg, a gain of 14 hp. A series of assistants have been provided to co-pilot the most powerful Brutal in production (with the exception of the special Cannonball series). Engine mapping is supported by an 8-level traction control system, and an anti-dribble clutch is fitted at the engine output.
although not equipped with Öhlins, MV-Agusta has opted for attractive suspensions to support its highly motorized roadster. The Marzocchi fork, specially prepared for this 1090 RR, has a diameter of 50 mm. The Sachs shock absorber offers high- and low-speed compression adjustment, as well as preload and rebound damping. Brakes are supplied by Brembo, with 320 mm discs clamped by the same monobloc calipers found on the F4 RR. For 2013, the roadster announces a weight reduction of 1,500 grams thanks to new rims, the adoption of LED daytime running lights arranged on either side of the dashboard, revised exhaust silencers, a grey finish for the engine and a new front mudguard.
its looks... everything has been said about it, and will forever remain a bewitching, untamed expression of Tamburini's brilliant pencil stroke.
ABS is now standard on the Brutale. But how do you get such a racy machine to accept such a safeguard? By fitting a Bosch 9MP. An anti-lock braking system that's light, disconnectable and sporty. The choice is yours: Normal for road use, Race for racetrack use, or deactivated if you're feeling confident.

Day and night, a very precise ride and exceptional handling in curves, and I'm not talking about the pleasure of this engine, I'm not talking about the look either (more personal)
A price difference between the two bikes, yes, but when you like it, you don't count
Bravo Mv agusta

It's a bike with many qualities and...no flaws
Watts at the bottom, middle and top. Japanese 4-wheelers are depressing down below.
Top-notch rigidity and handling.
Most impressive braking!
Not so uncomfortable, even if my 1200 BMW is better for going on vacation.
It's an excellent bike that also attracts sympathy, even from the marshals. What more could you ask for!
You don't see many of them on the road, no doubt a brand little known to the general public.
And watch out for the new 2018 models! Rating : 5/5 Respond to Killerjames
From the solex to the HD ELECTRA GLIDE model, I've worn out my knickers on a lot of saddles.
Recently, I bought second-hand, a long-held dream, a 2015 MV AGUSTA 1090 RR with 7000 KM on the odometer, a few carbon parts and an adaptable exhaust pipe. I haven't driven it much yet. But I'm delighted with the few hundred KM I've already been able to ride it. The sound of this bike is literally bewitching, the handling is excellent, the engine is great, and the styling is superb. You'll tell me that it's all a matter of taste, but in my opinion, motorcycles this beautiful are rare! What's more, it's very light. It would be almost as maneuverable as a bike, if it weren't so high. That's the only criticism I can make, and I'm only 1.70m tall, so that explains it.
In conclusion, this bike is like a jewel to me.
Greetings to all...
