Sena will be one of the major players in the helmet market in 2026. With its ANC noise reduction technology, the intercom manufacturer offers an additional hearing comfort solution. And to secure a strong position in the segment, the South Korean brand offers this solution in its own helmets, with the Phantom full-face helmet, the Outstar 2 jet helmet, and the Specter modular helmet , which will arrive just before spring.
Sena wants to shake things up with its Specter. This new helmet not only offers the usual versatility between jet and full-face, but also integrates connectivity as an essential feature from the outset, redefining the road experience.

By nature, a modular helmet is the Swiss Army knife of motorcycling. Practical in the city with its chin bar raised, protective on the highway when closed. But with the Specter, Sena takes this logic much further. There's no Bluetooth kit to install after purchase or cables to hide: communication, navigation, and audio are all built in. The helmet is ready to go right out of the box, with no compromise on aesthetics or aerodynamics.
Connectivity for active safety
While "mechanical" modularity allows the helmet to adapt to the weather or speed, the Specter's "digital" modularity adapts to the human context. In a group, instant communication becomes a safety tool: reporting an animal, gravel, or a stopped vehicle transforms the responsiveness of the group in real time.
In urban areas, audio GPS instructions allow the rider to keep their eyes on the road. Even when fatigue sets in on long journeys, talking to a passenger or fellow rider helps maintain the mental focus needed for safe riding.

With Specter, we sought to take the concept of the modular helmet to its logical conclusion by integrating connectivity as a native feature, explains Vlada Bokza, Head of Motorcycle Marketing Europe at SENA. The goal is to offer a helmet that can adapt to all riding situations, without add-ons or compromises.
An adaptive audio environment by Harman Kardon
One of the major challenges of a modular helmet is the acoustic variation between open and closed modes. Sena addresses this issue with a state-of-the-art audio system. Equipped with second-generation Harman Kardon speakers, the Specter guarantees consistent sound clarity regardless of the chin bar position.

The microphone features AINR intelligent noise reduction, ensuring intelligible conversations even in the din of city traffic or when riding at high speeds in windy conditions. In terms of endurance, the headset boasts impressive figures: 35 hours of talk time and fast charging offering 7 hours of use in just 20 minutes. The device also includes Safe Power Mode, allowing the headset to be used on an external power supply without draining the battery, thus preserving its longevity.
Visibility and protection: the fundamentals respected
Sena has not neglected passive safety. The Specter features a smart rear light that adapts its visibility to the conditions: a parking light in low light and an active brake light when braking.

With the Specter, SENA is no longer just selling a protective accessory, but a complete road companion capable of accompanying you on both your daily commute and long-distance adventures.
One small regret is that the Specter will only be available in two colors for now, starting in early March at a price of €619. All the information can be found at sena.com.
