presentation of the SRK 1051 RR 2026
QJ Motor is steadily expanding its range of sports bikes. Higher and higher each time. From the 125 upwards, there are now 20 SRK R models available (in its Chinese catalog). And the top of this family is the SRK 1051 RR. Not yet a hypersport, but a machine with a lot going for it.
Things are heating up in the Chinese manufacturer's R&D office. They've come up with a sharp, taut machine, with dynamic shapes that are quite pleasing to the eye. The raised pots are obviously copied from the Enterprise's warp nacelles (NCC-1701). This is a much more intimidating machine than the SRK 921 RR, from which it borrows a number of chassis solutions, such as the monobracket, the mixed aluminum and steel trellis frame and the Marzocchi suspensions - a major source of inspiration for MV-Agusta.
The rims are different, and the front end is still very strong, with its large inverted fork, 320 mm brake discs and high-efficiency Brembo Stylema calipers. At 215 kilos, the weight is just right. But where we want our senses to boil is in the powertrain.
Still a long way to go
Despite a desire for ever-higher displacement, the SRKs are not yet real killers. The 1051's boiler produces 144 hp at 10,600 rpm. In absolute terms, these figures are nothing exceptional. For a long time now, Japanese and Italian bikes have been orbiting around 200 hp with one liter of displacement. The SRK 1051 RR is unlikely to threaten or approach them.
Yet the danger lurks in the wings, as QJ Motor continues to gain in power. Here, they've taken the block from the 921, increased the bore and made it spit out 15 more drums. More cubic capacity is always good for torque. 10.7 mkg available with this mill.
It's neither a weapon nor a time-hunter. But it can offer great performance on the road, and pleasure on the track if you're not looking for competition. Especially as the price should refresh wallets. Given the price of its siblings, it's a safe bet that the 1051 will be under 15 grand.
So everything becomes crystal clear: you're going to find a 140-150 hp millstone for that price. On the menu, the Suzuki GSX-S1000, the CB 1000 Hornet and GT from Honda.... and that's it.

Dual temporality
While the specs of the SRK 1051 RR are closer to a Thunderace 1000 from the '90s than to a current pistarde, its electronics are more modern. It features an Up&Down shifter, angle-sensitive ABS and traction control, cruise control, tire pressure monitoring, color TFT display and Bluetooth connectivity. The Italians are much better off... for a lot of extra euros. Nor do they target the same audience.
The wolves are not yet in the sheepfold, but they're getting closer. CFMOTO is about to break down the door with its V4 SR-RR; QJ Motor prefers to lie in ambush and let its fangs grow. Those of its SRK 1051 RR are already big, but not sharp enough.
