presentation of the Varg SM Sköll 2026
Stark Future announces the Sköll Special Edition, a limited series of 500 units of its Varg SM. This new variant is primarily characterized by targeted weight reduction, titanium components, and a very dark finish, while retaining the mechanical architecture of the production model.
Technically, the Sköll comes standard with the full ALPHA specification. The bike thus delivers 80 chevaux of power, managed by a dynamic and adjustable traction control system. The manufacturer chose not to modify the motorcycle; it retains the 7.2 kWh structural battery pack, the single-speed drivetrain, and the carbon-fiber sleeve motor equipped with its integrated inverter.
Low RPM, Big Titanium Impact
The main improvement in this edition lies in weight reduction, achieved through the use of lightweight materials. The inclusion of 3D-printed titanium footpegs saves 140 grams compared to the original parts. Added to this is a complete set of titanium hardware, which reduces the weight by an additional 900 grams. In total, the bike weighs 1.1 kg less, dropping from the standard VARG SM’s 124.5 kg to 123.4 kg.
These weight reductions are concentrated in the controls and mounting points. Although they do not affect unsprung or rotating masses—leaving handling and suspension characteristics fundamentally unchanged—this reduction in overall mass lowers the vehicle’s inertia. In terms of handling, this translates to improved agility during rapid changes in lean angle and a greater tendency for the front of the motorcycle to lift.
Aesthetically, the Sköll stands out thanks to a dark finish applied to nearly all of its components. Through a combination of anodizing, powder coating, and specialized treatments, components such as the swingarm, engine casings, waveguide, docking station, and charging port cover take on a deep black hue. The upper and lower triple clamps are also black anodized and feature a special engraving certifying the limited edition.
The only mechanical component not treated in this way is the 520 RK MXU drive chain with ultra-wide links. Paired with a 7075 T6 alloy sprocket, it deliberately retains its original gold finish, contrasting with the rest of the frame.

A speed demon right from the A1 license.
For an additional 2,000 euros, the Varg SM Sköll is street-legal. As with the standard SM, its power rating makes it compatible with the A1 license in Europe and with the B license in certain Southern European markets.
