presentation of the VL 125 INTRUDER 2000
already present in the juicy niche (around 2000) of 125 customs with its Marauder, Suzuki is strengthening its position with the present Intruder. Convinced of the importance of this market, the manufacturer has added a brand-new engine: a V-twin with 3 valves per cylinder. Unfortunately, this mill isn't one of the best. Its sound is pleasant, but it lacks breath and vibrates a lot at higher revs. Whatever the conditions, it's no match for the Honda Shadow's twin. The machine makes up for this a little with its roadholding, which is very decent. It's easy to ride and weaves its way through urban environments without difficulty. Suzuki should modify the braking system. Both dosage and power are uninspiring. As are the handlebars, which penalize comfort. The bike's strong points are its attractive finish and a number of practical features, such as a large trunk and a clever helmet hook. However, the Intruder is put to the test by its majestic Shadow.

I have a suzuki 125 intruder from 2000, I have problems with the battery not charging, I think it's the ignition stator. I'd like to change it myself but I don't know where it is and if it's possible
Thanks in advance for your information. Rating : 5/5 Respond to Ferdi
I love it for quiet rides, but it's still a 125 of course!

a little short on top speed, good braking, very maneuverable in town Rating : 5/5 Respond to obelix
I'd really like to find a driving school with a bike this high, because the 500 I'm learning on is too high and too heavy for me
In any case, I don't regret my purchase, because it's beautiful and fun to ride
As far as braking is concerned, I think it's fine, but it chases a lot from the rear
Sincerely to all
