presentation of the 1000 V-STROM ADVENTURE 2014
a ride here, an excursion there, a breeze of road on this side and a big dose of road on the other... The Suzuki 1000 V-Strom goes through thick and thin to defend the firm's colors in the merciless world of trail-GTs. Less glamorous and noble than some of the big star products, it nonetheless boasts typical Suzuk' arguments: an aggressive price tag, an accessible size, first-rate ease of use and a playful temperament.
among the many "pack" versions of the 1000 V-Strom, the "Adventure" series is the most promising for an impromptu weekend getaway. With a few items of equipment taken from the accessories catalog, all you have to do is take a toothbrush, some clothes and a sextant and stuff them into the 25-liter top-case. Bottles, maps, GPS, wallet and other knick-knacks are stored in the large tank bag(not visible in photo). And when it's time to take the load off the rider, the touring bubble and handguards are the perfect companions.
With a name extension like Adventure, this big trail bike will certainly want to eat bollards. As a result, you'll find plenty of room for a bottle of chain grease (no cardan shaft required). And it's a little further on that you'll come to appreciate the center stand, handy for minor maintenance operations.
A little fun is in order, and the 1000 V-Strom Adventure reinforces its identity with a set of stickers, an engine cover and LED indicators. A special cover completes the range, allowing you to tuck in your bike between two stages.
If you want to go further with more luggage and more pretensions, the"Tourer" series will offer you additional luggage compartments.
