Motorcycle specifications SuzukiGSX 1300 R Hayabusa 25th anniversary 2023 A 1/4 century for 1/4 the speed of sound.

It can be summed up as follows. When it came out in 1999, the Suzuki GSX 1300 R Hayabusa could reach 25% of the speed of sound; Mach 1 divided by 4!
25 years on, the "peregrine falcon" is still with us. And Suzuki wants to celebrate.
The Hayabusa has always been a motorcycle in a class of its own, holding an important and indestructible page in the history of speed. Like the SR-71 Blackbird, the Ferrari 250 GTO, Usain Bolt and the Maglev train, it bears the hallmark of velocity.
even if other motorcycles now go faster than it...... Even if it's no longer the time for super-cruiser missiles...... Even if it no longer provokes the same thrill as in its heyday...... The GSX 1300 R continues to show its strength on the road.
for all that, it's still going strong on the sales front. So there are still fans of the super-fast Sport-GT genre - of which it is one of the latest representatives (along with the Kawasa H2 SX). Some of these fans will be able to fall for the tribute version, enhanced by a little preparation:
Its orange-red and black color scheme is a reinterpretation of the Hayabusa's 2008 dress , when it was presented in its second generation. Widening the spectrum, it takes on the image of the2014 American "50 th Anniversary" special edition, which celebrated the half-century of Suzuki's arrival in the USA.
The demonstration is enhanced by a 25th anniversary sticker on the tank, mufflers engraved with commemorative elements, gold-anodized front disc brakes and chain tensioners, a matching seat cover and the Hayabusa Kanji (symbol) on the chain guide.
25 years of Hayabusa - Over 200,000 models distributed in 48 countries during this period. The anniversary model will be distributed in 7 countries, with 50 units for Germany, 300 for Japan, and initially 25 for France - but stronger-than-expected demand has motivated Suzuki to allocate us a few extra units.
A place where it will be somewhat complicated to exploit the full range of its performance. The Suz' needs room to let its 190 hp and enormous 15.3 mkg of torque flow. Over time, the biggest GSX R (and not GSX-R) has gained as much electronics as the hypersports, taking with it 6 riding modes, traction control, shifter, anti-wheeling, Launch Control, speed limiter and regulator, engine brake management, cornering ABS, combined braking, hill start assist, Low RPM Assist, Easy Start System and instrumentation worthy of a Boeing.
