110 years of history, famous models, English tradition, and today, Triumph is one of the most prominent brands on the market. To celebrate this anniversary, the Hinckley-based brand has chosen the Bonneville T 100 version to carry on this heritage.
With its black mudguards, this ultra-vintage roadster is inspired in this limited edition by the first Triumph produced in 1902. The colors chosen, Brooklands Green and Aluminium Silver, are rather austere, recalling those of the past: Brooklands Green commemorates Triumph's first victory on the racetrack, at Surrey in 1908, while Aluminium Silver is inspired by the style of pre-war motorcycles.
Miss Bonnie 110th Anniversary features a special logo. Triumph has modified the logo on the tank by evolving the original motif: the addition of three dots above the original design represents the three places where the brand has produced motorcycles over these 110 years - Coventry, Meriden and Hinckley.
As with most special series, a few accessories are installed on board. Nothing transcendent. A chrome finish for the passenger handle, chain guard and cylinder head cover. Each Bonneville 110th Anniversary comes with a numbered plate and a certificate of authenticity. For such a celebration, we'd have preferred a shinier decoration, specific exhausts, or something to really differentiate it from the standard model.
1000 examples will be produced. 250 will go to the States, 25 to Canada, 80 to us; the rest of the world will have to share the remaining 645. Available from May 2012 at a price just under 10,000 euros.
