Based on the Bonneville T 100, Triumph presents a special Spirit edition with a delicate whiff of the 50s and customization. The Bonnie has always willingly lent itself to the exercise. With the Spirit, Hinckley is playing with subtlety and elegance for a machine that will be distinguished above all by its unique Spirit Blue / New England White color scheme.
but a closer look reveals that this T 100 Spirit has a few surprises in store. First of all, the logo: the big Triumph crest gives way to more contemporary lettering (but where does the spirit go?!?). Chromium plating takes a back seat, while certain parts - handlebars, mirrors, engine casings, front mudguards, rims and hubs - are deepened in black. A touch of glamour, the seat is adorned with white stitching.
over and above these styling touches, the discerning enthusiast wonders about the shape of this T 100: it's not really her; it looks like some elements have changed... Indeed, Miss T 100 has been rummaging through the belongings of her cousins. The exhausts are those of the standard Bonneville, the headlight comes from the Scrambler and the rear mudguard belongs to the Thruxton.
The heart of the Bonneville Spirit remains the friendly 865 cm3 parallel twin. Producing a maximum power output of 68 hp and 68 Nm of torque, it's a relaxed ride, with a vintage spirit in your eyes and a cool attitude.
