presentation of the 1000 STREET SCRAMBLER 2007

Cliquez pour agrandirto back up the "good boy" Scrambler, Voxan clones a brother with a "bloodier" temperament. The Street retains the original lines of the first version, but the French twin now packs 100 hp into its pistons, i.e. an extra fifteen or so to get the machine revved up. More watts -> new equipment. The front axle is taken from the Café Racer, with an inverted fork and a 17" wheel. The trail tires are removed and sports tires are fitted. Voxan thus joins the wave of sports roadsters that is increasingly dominating the scene. Undoubtedly proud of its cultural exception, the street bike doesn't have the incisive tendency of a sports bike, unlike today's street bikes with the heart of a tracker.

It's riding, yes, but in a charming, torquey wave. The Issoire twin's personality and roundness are intoxicating. There's no need to bang it like a furious man, it distils joy without ever showing weakness. Extremely stable and well suspended, the Scrambler S's only shortcomings are its still-to-be-improved build quality and its more restrained agility than its "pure" rivals. It's still possible to enjoy a good attack without going for the bleeding edge of a Joe BAR Team-style arsouille. The Voxan is a powerful roadster, full of finesse in a world of bullies. The Street Scrambler, with its handsome face, peppy twin, healthy chassis and "French bad-boy" attitude, won't leave you with your hands in your pockets.

From 3,000 rpm, you'll be able to get the most out of your Voxan, or, failing that, a big Ducati, and all you'll be doing is waiting for your friends to come along for the ride. It's like riding a Maserati without the problems. This is the bike that reconciled me with sports bikes after 15 years in GTs. Rating : 5/5

Great bike ,
not so expensive considering the quality of the components: very little plastic.
Very lively engine and precise driving, in short, nothing but happiness. And for those who complain about range, personally, I'm doing 5.7 liters per 100, or 180 up to the reserve, then I know I've got 70 km to go before running out of fuel.

In terms of performance, our rivals appear to lag behind the Voxan, with engine power reaching nearly 130hp (prefer 115/120 without difficulty).
Voxan owners, save up for an optional oil cooler to reduce the heat generated by the engine.

the pluses: a beautiful motorcycle by far
the minuses
-the price 8000€ no more at 12000€ it 4000€ too much
-the pots suck
-the tank (where the manufacturer has seen pumps open every 10m)
Mister manufacturer, you need to have your feet on the ground, look at the vstrom 650 or the bmw 1200gs
you must be in the middle with pluses not minuses

The V.Strom has the front end of an anvil, and the GS is a "pain in the ass", if you don't spend a lot of money at the dealership!
Then find us some other references! :-)

I find this model quite good, but the HIC is that it smells a bit like a reheater and a bit like a batard model....mais si non pas mal (même si elle est chère comparé aux autres de la même marque) Rating : 5/5

More roadster-like than the scrambler...more responsive, more fun, more expensive :S but affordable all the same Rating : 5/5

slt les gars, moi c wil.tout d'abord merci voxan pour ces superbes bécanes de fous ki ne sont ke pour les connaisseurs.pommage ke des mecs (ki n'ont rien compris)compare des VOXAN a des japonaises parce du prix!!!!We don't make 300 voxans a day (finishing) and for your information, compare 1 monstro engine with 1 street (there are cables and cables hiding the ducat engine, while the street is clean). the engine is great, I've had the opportunity to try 1 café racer (gold) several times (slt papa). Rating : 5/5
i don't think its direct competitors are the ducati sport classics, they don't perform as well as the voxan,in terms of engine,handling..
competitors like the triumph speedtriple,ducatis4rs,and the japanese z1000..knowing that the french v72 can reach 130hp in freewheel..and a remarkable weight..what do you think?

It's not bad, it's true, but I think it's a complete waste to have used those two big ugly pots... I hope there are adaptable and more discreet ones... Rating : 5/5

yes it is splendid!!! it will be mine in exactly 2 months after 20 years of patience and saving ... and yes when you love you don't count :)
a little disappointment compared to the proto at the 2003 show !!! the supertrapp pots, the high seat and the seat back which gave it that sleek yet aggressive shape with a streamlined, plunging front end !!! but hey, I think that with voxan and my dealer we'll be able to give it back its true look !!!ah yes, I've been scouring the net for 2 months to see the black magic, and I've noticed that some countries don't hesitate to put just a small photo with no comment, whereas here their ducats and other jap bikes get a lot of attention, and if we did the same to them, after all in France we're big consumers of motorcycles, so let's reverse the trend and show the foreigners what made in France is capable of!!! yes, I agree and I'll soon be riding a Voxan:))a ++ les motards!

For me, my street from dec 2004 with 4000 km has brought me nothing but happiness; after a change (under warranty) of the injection ECU the bike has become more sober (-2l/100) and lively; my second speedo block supports the HP wash without fogging! more supple than my ex multistrada, the engine is just as lively. comfort, riding position, braking, handling, liveliness like I like. to buy without fear in 2005.hi. Contrary to gege l'asp, I find this bike a pleasure to ride on winding roads on mountain roads, it takes you where the others lag behind as far as bolts and nuts are concerned, no rust and it's two years old, but I don't leave it lying around outside. as for the speedo, it's true that there's a bit of moisture, but it was taken under warranty by the dealer, so there's nothing to complain about. I think it's time to stop blaming French motorcycles. If your bike were a suz or a honda, you wouldn't be saying all this. I have one thing to say: we've waited at least 30 years to get a French motorcycle, and today we've done it with superb machines (I never tire of standing at a red light and seeing heads turn as I pass, or hearing a cow on a Voxan), so gentlemen, motorcycle malcontents, stop polishing this company, which does everything it can to satisfy its customers.
Long live the French motorcycle and long live Voxan!

I've been riding a Black since January
2000 Kms with it and since it's been broken in and unbridled, I really like it. But I'd like to add that it's not an easy machine to get to grips with. It's still brutal at low revs, it doesn't steer AT ALL, it heats up enormously in town, to the point of inflaming jeans and burning boot leather (left exhaust pipe). The exhaust is discreet, but the intake cones produce a noise from beyond the grave, a real treat. This is a very virile machine, for real bikers. As soon as you roll into the corners, it reveals itself to be very torquey and precise, truly ultimate. A valid choice, but a very radical one.

After ten thousand kilometers of riding, the conclusion is mixed
Pros: The engine, a true twin with a strong personality. The lightness of the overall package, making it ideal for small-road riding. The comfortable duo
it's beautiful
Minuses: Contrary to the trade press, I didn't find the frame to be a rail (the street doesn't like pif paf and tends to jump on its suspension)
Vibrations pleasant at first, but tiring after 300 km. The twin's lack of flexibility
The poor quality of the accessories (fogging of the speedometers, lighting failure after 4,000 km, rust everywhere)

To conclude, at €12,000 a pop, I'm a little disappointed. The rapid ageing of the set leads me to consider selling it soon

this machine is a work of art, a pure marvel from our french builder. you can't wait to get on the beast, pardon me, the beauty and throw yourself into curves for hours on end. in short, indifference to such a machine is not motorcycling! in short, when I get my license, I'll get on it and let the powder do the talking!
