Scooter specifications YamahaTMAX 560 2025 The King's conquest

It's been almost 25 years since the T-Max arrived on the market, triggering a seismic shift in this category of two-wheelers. Quickly becoming a staple of the sector, Yamaha's maxi-scoot is regularly updated to maintain its leadership; increasingly threatened by the Honda Forza and X-ADV.
More than 330,000 models sold later, the XP 560 is set to undergo a transformation in 2025, with a dynamic new look featuring a sharper bow, improved rider assistance and a more sophisticated instrument panel. In addition, the TMAX Tech MAX features a high-end finish that underlines its status as a premium sports scooter.
In addition to the improved connected dashboard, riders will also benefit from the enhanced control offered by the braking control system, and the upgraded engine meets the needs of environmentally conscious users.
eURO5+ twin-cylinder 560cm3 engine
The TMAX is equipped with a compact, powerful engine that delivers sporty performance thanks to an easy-to-use automatic transmission. The 560 cm³ twin-cylinder engine develops a maximum power output of 47.5 hp and features a balancing mechanism that ensures a smooth ride, ideal for all driving situations, from daily commutes on congested city streets to freeway journeys home.
For 2025, the engine and exhaust have been optimized, and the latest TMAX fully complies with the EURO5+ standard, making this sporty scooter accessible to A2 license holders a suitable solution for low-emission urban areas in European cities. With maximum power at 7000 rpm and maximum torque at 5250 rpm, the TMAX is designed to deliver an exciting and enjoyable ride wherever its rider decides to go, 7 days a week.
The TMAX's fully automatic transmission operates via a low-maintenance V-belt, for smooth operation at all speeds. For optimum ride quality, the centrifugal clutch settings have been revised to optimize smooth acceleration, and the new intake system offers a clearer, smoother sound when the throttle is opened.
enhanced electronic assistance
The TMAX has been designed to offer the rider the highest levels of comfort, control and riding pleasure. This iconic sports scooter has always been at the cutting edge of style and technology, and the new model features a new braking control system, more commonly known as "Active Cornering ABS".
Originally developed for Yamaha's Supersport bikes, Brake Control (BC) works in conjunction with the TMAX's ABS system, taking into account the angle of the machine and wheel slip to modulate brake control pressure. Activated by an inertial measurement unit (IMU), the Brake Control (BC) system aims to deliver the most comfortable braking performance at different speeds and angles of inclination, whatever the road conditions.
The TMAX is also equipped with D-MODE, which allows the driver to select the desired engine power for city or highway driving, and traction control, which moderates power to the rear wheel on loose or slippery surfaces. The addition of braking control complements the existing array of electronic technologies on this sporty scooter to offer the rider a superior level of confidence, whatever the weather or road conditions.
new dynamic dual headlamp and redesigned bodywork
The 2025 model features a dynamic new front end with two redesigned headlights and integrated running lights, giving it a more sporty, refined look that's instantly recognizable, while bringing a new image to this exceptional sports scooter. The TMAX's front fascia is also new, and matches the new dual-lens headlamp to give this new generation a more streamlined appearance than before, offering a simple, elegant silhouette with a more compact look.
Combined with the iconic "boomerang" side panels"side panels, raised side exhaust, sculpted two-seater seat and athletic lines, the new bow retains the original character and sporting DNA of this legendary model, which has made it one of Yamaha's most popular two-wheeled motorcycles.
revamped 7-inch screen with enhanced connectivity
The 7-inch TFT screen has been upgraded to offer a choice of three configurations, allowing riders to select the option that focuses on the information most important to them. Improved connectivity on the latest model via the MyRide app also enables riders to listen to music, view SMS messages, receive calls and e-mail notifications.
The MyRide app also provides access to numerous functions and services such as a driving log, parking location, fuel consumption, routes taken and more, adding a new dimension to the driving experience and enabling the owner to make informed decisions.
garmin navigation
TMAX drivers can access comprehensive Garmin Navigation* mapping via the Garmin Motorize app, which can be downloaded to an Apple or Android phone*. In addition to navigation functions, this app also enables TMAX drivers to view information on traffic, weather conditions and points of interest (POIs), making each trip easier and more efficient to plan.
first-class ride quality and comfort
The TMAX was the first high-performance maxi-scooter to adopt a motorcycle-style chassis, and this feature contributes considerably to its top-of-the-range riding qualities. Thanks to the motorcycle-style inverted fork, the long swingarm for enhanced stability and the compact engine mounted directly in the chassis, the TMAX rider benefits from the precise handling of a sportbike without losing the advantages of a scooter.
The lightweight double-spar aluminum frame offers the strength and agility of a motorcycle for excellent cornering, while its configuration offers the ease and convenience of a scooter, making the TMAX the most practical and attractive choice for daily commutes and weekend excursions. Equipped with a protective fairing, sport windscreen and sculpted two-seater seat, the TMAX has few rivals when it comes to ride quality and comfort.
large-diameter disc brakes, lightweight forged wheels
The TMAX is equipped with large-diameter front disc brakes (267 mm), a 282 mm-diameter rear disc brake with ABS and the latest brake control system, offering optimum control in all conditions. Lightweight forged rims minimize unsprung weight for greater liveliness, while the 120/70-15 front tire and wide 160/60-15 rear tire ensure optimum traction, making the TMAX a top performer in town and on the freeway.
simple and functional
The TMAX is designed for anyone who appreciates style, performance, convenience and functionality. A large under-seat storage compartment can accommodate a full-face helmet or two jet helmets (depending on size and shape), and the Smart Key start system allows keyless management of the ignition, seat, fuel tank and center stand, as long as the rider is in possession of the electronic box.
