in the line of Yamaha's "star" custom bikes, this is not only the eldest, but also the most unusual. Indeed, this big machine forsakes the traditional V-twin for an impressive V4. A big engine that has already made a name for itself, as it is closely derived from the powerplants fitted to the GT 1300 Venture and the well-known 1200 V max. Mellowed out, it runs in its typical way, but doesn't offer as much power as the turbulent V-max. If you're looking for more excitement and big torque, you might be better off with the same manufacturer's 1600 Wild Star.

mechanical considerations aside, it's good to see that Yam has designed a beautiful machine that perfectly illustrates the American motorcycle type. With its imposing appearance and excellent finish, the Royal Star is sure to turn heads. You'll enjoy this machine most of all by letting its chrome gleam in the avenues, or by riding it smoothly on the country roads. Don't count on it for a sporty pace: the huge running boards rub at the slightest excess of optimism, and the weak braking isn't up to the task of stopping this big, beautiful custom.

Hello everyone I have for a month a Royal Star 96 which has 28mil km. I have a problem with the clutch I had trouble finding the neutral .after having drained the fluid all is well . Simon I have a big problem cold all goes well it starts at the quarter turn. But when it's hot and rolling, it suddenly stops as if there was no fuel. Has anyone experienced this problem? Yes, I'm on my 2nd one, they all start to steer at 60 kph if you let go of the steering wheel
