presentation of the RSV4 1000 Factory SUPERBIKE 2010
it's not just the Ducati 1198 R that's doing Italy proud of Italy in WSBK - the RSV4 Factory is also playing hard in the big leagues, right from the start. Aprilia's got a lot to play for: Max Biaggi on the half-guidelines, one of the most charismatic riders of the last 10 years, a breathtaking V4, a pure racing machine... and for 2010, a new sponsor taking over the entire fairing. This year, the RSV4's carbon skin will be covered in the colors of Alitalia, the renowned Italian airline. Gone are the austere Factory colors, replaced by the colorful explosion of Italian colors. We also note the arrival of Agip, who installs its famous 6-legged ouaf on the Superbike hoof. For the new season, Max will be able to count on his new lieutenant, Leon Carmier, British Superbike champion. No real changes to the machine. Hyper-compact, fire-breathing with its V4 and crazy electronics, firmly held in place by top-notch Öhlins suspension, and only calmed by Brembo calipers to crush your forearms, the RSV4 is obviously aiming for the title... which would certainly make a lot of people in the paddock cringe.
