Introducing the "R" version of the ACE. Assembled by hand, this "R" is a more accomplished version, with racing-style accessories and equipment, as you'd expect. Carbon covers and rims, a more advanced engine (still the VFR's 1200cm3 Honda V4) which increases from 173 to 201 HP, and a more discreet look. The trellis frame has been reworked and lightened for greater incisiveness and precision. It also features Ohlins suspension and an LCD instrument panel.
All these innovations have been arranged in a rather discreet spirit that, in the end, blends well with the classy side. A fine achievement, without a doubt, and of the highest standard. A simple definition of this machine? It's an ACE with even more sportiness and exclusivity.
However, as the Ariel brand is emblematic, even mythical, we're eagerly awaiting a model with its own "patte". That famous pencil stroke that will make it recognizable at a glance. If the company succeeds in arousing this emotion, it will be a force to be reckoned with in the big leagues. Alea jacta est.
This version will be produced in a limited series of 10 for approximately 60,000 euros, excluding taxes.
