presentation of the R 1200 GS Triple Black 2010
bMW's turn to follow the Dark Machines trend, where black is de rigueur. The R 1200 GS Triple Black is a limited-edition model in which a layer of dark color is set against ridges of aluminum gray. Called Sapphire Black, the color is applied to the bodywork, engine, forks and wheels. The cylinder heads, rear frame and Paralever swingarm are covered in Asphalt Grey. Nothing out of the ordinary, just a new color. To truly justify its special edition status, this GS stands out for its superior equipment. The Triple Black comes with a 3D GS logo on the seat, spoked rims from theAdventure and the Premium Pack including: ESA Enduro electronic suspension, heated grips, handguards and Integral ABS. Still going strong with its HP2 Sport cylinder heads, the 110-hp flat-twin answers the call as usual to take the world's best-selling BMW far and wide...

I've had a lot of fun with it, both on the road and on trips. Recently fitted with a low seat because I'm 1.66m tall, it's more comfortable when stopped, but I've been riding it for many years now, and it's a matter of getting used to manoeuvring it. Rating : 4/5 Respond to gorré kear
