Motorcycle specifications Ducati698 Hypermotard Mono Nera 2026 Like a strong black espresso
presentation of the 698 Hypermotard Mono Nera 2026
It’s the lightest Ducati, one of the most fun to ride, and surely the one that loves spending most of its time with a wheel in the air or sideways. The 698 Hypermotard also decides to treat itself with this Nera edition. Hence its predominantly black color scheme, with a few reddish accents to get your cheeks and your brain racing.
But that’s not all.
It comes standard with a shifter, a small add-on that perfectly matches this machine’s sporty temperament, and a pair of Termignoni mufflers. Looks, sound, but no weight savings since the stock exhausts are already so light.
No extra horsepower either, even though the Termignonis should still boost the flow a bit. No, to get more punch, you need the full exhaust system, which adds 7 horsepower to the 77 that the single-cylinder engine can spit out.
An engine with a bold temperament, perfectly in tune with the bike’s sassy character. The manufacturer’s only single-cylinder, and an ideal powerplant for a supermoto.
Lively, lightweight (barely 160 kg ready to ride), the Hypermotard 698 boasts a demonic power-to-weight ratio, a formidable chassis, and advanced electronics.
Only the comfort and the price will make you realize just how committed this bike is.
Speaking of price. The little HM, like any Ducati, doesn’t come cheap. Better equipped, the Nera version naturally costs more… but not that much more. The price bump is 400 euros; whereas the exhausts are priced at nearly 1,700 euros in the accessories section. Could Termignoni be playing Santa Claus?!
