Why does this D 16 RR bear the name of the gathering of the world's richest countries?

because this exceptional model is accompanying the 2009 edition of the G8 summit, which is being held in the Abruzzo region of Italy, which was hit by an earthquake in April 2009. Decorated in accordance with the wishes of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, the only V4-powered Ducati bears the G8 logo as its racing number, and the flags of the countries taking part in the summit on the sides of its bubble.
