Motorcycle specifications Ducati Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour 1160 2027 She wants to be far from home
presentation of the Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour 1160 2027
The Multistrada Grand Tour is like a comet—it occasionally re-enters the atmosphere of the GT maxi-trail segment, then fades away until the next generation arrives. With this model, Ducati showcases the touring potential of its large MTS, packed with every amenity imaginable and a true spirit of adventure.
Third in the Lineup
The first in the series broke new ground with the 1260 Multistrada S Grand Tour in 2020; four years later, it’s the V4 S that takes on the Grand Tour moniker. Now it’s the turn of the very latest generation to carry the torch. So here is the 2027 Ducati Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour.
This reissue is based on the latest version of the MTS V4 S, which features Euro 5+ compliance, a slightly restyled front end, more advanced electronics (DVO—Ducati Vehicle Observer, more active rear cylinder deactivation, smarter Skyhook suspension, a more proactive radar system), and improved passenger comfort.
Upon seeing the Grand Tour, the most obvious feature is the standard-equipment side cases. So is this just a Multi’ with big pockets?! No, Ducati is far from being that ordinary. This long-distance machine sets itself apart with a unique color scheme—more subdued than that of the previous model. The color scheme is complemented by a black finish on the frame, swingarm, fork crowns, side cases, and handlebars, as well as “Grand Tour” lettering on the rims. The rider and passenger seats feature unique details.
It therefore features a dedicated design, 60 liters of cargo space, and a few additional features. These include a radar system incorporating adaptive cruise control (ACC), blind-spot detection (BSD), and forward collision warning (FCW), heated seats and grips, a center stand, sequential turn signals, additional lights, a rear fog light, tire pressure monitoring, and a keyless fuel cap.

A heavy-duty SUV
Embodying Ducati’s philosophy in the touring segment. Whether for short or long getaways that can quickly turn into races—both sprints and endurance runs. Because with its massive 170 ch V4, its Brembo Stylema brakes biting down on 330 mm rotors, its sharp chassis, and its Panigale-like feel, the Multistrada can really let loose as soon as you rev the engine. Don’t pack rum and Coke in the same suitcase—you’ll end up with a Cuba Libre by the end of the ride.
Of course, a long-distance bike like this is packed with electronics. Traction control, riding modes, anti… No, wait, let’s just make a list—it’ll be simpler:
- 5 riding modes (Sport / Touring / Urban / Enduro / Rain
- Combined braking and cornering
- Traction control
- Engine Braking Control
- Wheelie control
- Up & Down Shifter
- Cornering lights
- Hill Start Assist
- Automatic suspension lowering system
- 6.5-inch color TFT display with integrated navigation via smartphone mirroring
- + everything we’ve seen before
The final price tag is steep, making the Ducati Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour a noble and sporty adventure bike—but well out of reach for the average rider’s budget. Yet, yes, despite the hefty price, Ducati has made an effort. If you were to add all these features to a standard MTS V4 S, you’d end up paying well over 30,000 roros.
