presentation of the 748 S 2000
you know how it is... You've got a great bike, a little jewel of character, it's "not like the others", you're happy... and what's more, you want more, to add a little salt and spice to the dish that satisfies you so much. That's what the 748 S is for. The superb silhouette is complemented, for just a few euros, by a few extras to enhance driving performance. Engine-wise, there's nothing new to report. The little twin Desmoquattro still produces 97 horsepower. For more, look no further than the R. The changes are on the chassis and suspension side. The S is equipped with more efficient Showa suspensions. The inverted forks are TIN-treated to reduce friction. The new 5-spoke wheels are lighter Marchesini. There's also a different clutch master cylinder. For connoisseurs only, as the price is on a par with a Japanese hypersport... which doesn't have the same taste at all.
