presentation of the DIAVEL 1260 S Lamborghini 2021
Who doesn't know Lamborghini, one of the most famous sports car manufacturers!?! The story of a man who challenged Enzo Ferrari, the legend of the V12 in cars bursting with character, a style to match the best fighter jets, an emblem of strength and passion.
Ducati has decided to marry one of its own products with its neighbor's latest car. The fruit of this union is called the Diavel 1260 S Lamborghini edition. A neighbor in town, but also in the family: the two brands are only 20 km apart, and both belong to the Volkswagen Group.
This is not the Diavel ' s first marriage with a car. When it was still young, it had a fling with AMG.
This time, the alliance is symbiotic as much as symbolic. This Diavel is full of nods to the Lamborghini Siàn FKP 37 - an 819-hp monster. The superb wheels, new to the range, follow the exact same design as the car itself. Continuing the mimicry, the Brembo M50 brake calipers are painted red and the exhaust features a Y-shaped carbon skin - the theme letter of this Lambo's design.
The main colors are common to both models. Gea Green for the bodywork, and an Electrum Gold that the Siàn uses mainly for its wheels, while the Ducat employs it for its frame, forged rims, a seat insert and the underside of the seat. A bold cocktail of colors, with a noble blend of noble materials.
Ducati has gone so far as to modify the air intakes and radiator scoops so that they identify with certain elements of the same vein on the car. They are made of carbon, as are the sabot, mudguards, fuel tank cover, seat cover, headlight surround, speedo cap and silencer wrap.

the famous bull logo is featured on the fuel tank, as well as in the on-screen kinematics. On power-up, the 3.5-inch TFT display shows the coat of arms of each company side by side.
And then there's the number 63. It's not chosen at random. Only 63 units of the Siàn FKP 37 will be produced, in homage to the automotive division created in 1963. The company was founded earlier, in 1948 - Ferrucio Lamborghini having initially worked in tractors.
Also produced in a limited series, the Diavel was to have many more offspring. 630 examples left the Borgo Panigale factory, at a price as excessive as the Siàn's performance. It should be pointed out that the price of the motorcycle is fifty times less than that of the car.
As the Diavel Lamborghini Edition is based on the 1260 S model, it benefits from a host of features that enhance its quality and added value. It's fully Öhlins-mounted, with a large 48 mm inverted fork and monoshock, both fully adjustable. In addition to its high horsepower, the 1262 cm3 twin with variable valve timing delivers 13.2 mkg of torque.
Electronically, it's a party: shifter, riding modes, 6-axis IMU, traction control, active ABS in curves, anti-wheeling, power modes, keyless start, daytime light signature, Launch Control, backlit commodos, full LED lighting, cruise control and multimedia system.

ducati has also included a matching jet helmet. As an accessory, not even offered....
In other fun news, the Diavel's huge 240 mm rear tire is just a tad narrower than... a Lambo front tire. Ducati could take umbrage with this and give the Lamborghini a look in the rear-view mirror - Loupé; it would go over the roof because it's so low.
