presentation of the CVO 1980 Street Glide Limited FLHXLSE 2026
You've been eyeing a Street Glide Limited for a while now. You're weighing up the pros and cons, you're having doubts, you're complaining... because you want more. Better yet, you want to take it to the next level. So, it's almost imperative to change lanes, move all the sliders up, and take a closer look at the CVO 121 Street Glide Limited. Here, you reach the pinnacle of Harley's Tourer range.
You can feel it right away with its high-end paint jobs. A beautiful "Electric Coast" blue embellished with chrome or the bold "Citrus Heat" drenched in black. The latter increases your credit by the same amount as a 400. Except that money is not the primary concern. In the Custom Vehicle Operationsdepartment, the attention to detail goes beyond the specifications.
Its operators then dip into the Carbide collection to add more stylish elements such as heated grips, footrests (standard, forward for cruising, and passenger), a dual-branch gear selector, and brake lever protection.
Comfort is enhanced with a higher-quality seat, stamped with the CVO logo and complete with a backrest for the rider. The sound system has also been upgraded with a Rockford Fosgate Stage II system with six speakers and 1,100 watts of auditorium power.
The heart of desire
Your senses will be much more attuned to the metal beast under the tank. The M8 121 VVT is the largest engine available from Harley and one of the most powerful (with the exception of the exclusive Road Glide RR). Its colorful inserts hint at a temperament full of growl and depth. One turn of the starter, a whiff of gasoline, and the two cylinders roar to life in 1977 cc of American muscle. With the Variable Valve Timing system, the power range is expanded to get the most out of this enormous engine. The Street Glide Limited CVO promises 18.6 lb-ft of torque and 115 hp, which is almost 1 lb-ft, 8 hp, and 54 cc more than the standard model.

A CVO now also means a more refined chassis. The front end is very different, with a 47 mm inverted fork and Brembo 4-piston radial brake calipers. The steering is stiffer, more precise, even sportier, and fundamentally surprising. It would seem that the ST models have left their mark on the minds of the MoCo.
This Street Glide has an additional, customizable riding mode. This gives the rider two à la carte modes in addition to Rain, Road, and Sport. Most of the electronics are the same as on the original model: a huge 31.2 cm Skyline screen, integrated navigation, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cornering ABS, tire pressure monitoring, traction control, keyless start, linked brakes, hill start assist, rear wheel torque control, etc.
Better still, it's different
You're now at the top of Harley's Tourer range. You've also just taken out a mortgage on your house. If you take a look at the other models in the CVO clan, you'll find sportier ones with the ST, more bagger, even Trike, but none better for cruising the open road.

And even after all that and decades of evolution in the range, it's still not possible to fit a helmet in a suitcase. What about the new Tour-Pak? No problem, there's room for two.
Let's take this opportunity to look at the riding modes:
- Road Mode: Designed for everyday use; offers balanced performance.
- Sport Mode: allows you to fully exploit the bike's potential in a direct and precise manner, with maximum power and instant throttle response.
- Rain Mode: Designed to give the rider greater confidence in the rain or when grip is reduced.
- Custom Modes: The rider can use the touchscreen to create custom riding modes with performance characteristics tailored to their preferences or specific situations.
