presentation of the CVO 1980 Street Glide ST FLHXSTSE 2026
Harley invented the high-performance luxury bagger in 2024 with the CVO Road Glide ST. Since the Road Glide has almost always gone hand in hand with the Street Glide for decades, it makes sense that this sister model should also become a recipient of this mechanical madness infused with lust. The road smells of burning embers withthis CVO Street Glide ST.
As a CVO, this machine is both highly expressive and exudes high added value. The ST transformation is immediately apparent with wilder colors, a sportier treatment, and violent contours worthy of mistresses whipping you in dungeons.
The influence of the "King of the Baggers" races is evident in its front fender, center console and forged carbon seat backrest, single-seat saddle, black Screamin' Eagle exhausts, petal brake discs, reduced sound system, protective pads and 10 kilos less weight. Even before you start it up, the gasoline seems to boil in the hoses. Then comes the moment when the Milwaukee-Eight awakens. And it's mean.
Lightning and thunder
It features the same 1213cc engine as the other CVOs... with one major difference. It swaps the VVT variable intake system for a High Output camshaft. The specific air filter increases air flow by 26%. Harley wanted to prioritize power at high revs with this huge Big Block. As a result, the 121 HO produces 126 horsepower at 4,900 rpm! In addition, the red zone has been raised to 5,900 rpm.
That's 12 horsepower more than the 121 VVT. As for torque, it's up by 10 Nm. It won't impress the crowd with almost 20 mkg in the boilers, but it could leave some nasty cracks in the road if there weren't a few guardrails to watch out for.
Including a speed limiter. The CVO Street Glide ST has a top speed of 177 km/h, which it can maintain for 25 seconds before the electronics gradually reduce the engine speed to a more "calm" level.

Radial 4-piston Brembo brakes, fully adjustable Showa suspension, 47 mm inverted fork with DLC coating, wider and higher handlebars, "Fast Johnnie" graphics, eagle motifs inspired by the Harley-Davidson x Dynojet Factory Race Team livery... This bagger seems to want to infiltrate the paddocks.
However, that's not its goal. Like the Road Glide ST, it aims above all to offer a GT experience with luxury, dominance, superior speed, and more intense riding.
It will provide a little more firmness than a standard Street Glide. That's also what you expect from a high-caliber model. A small sacrifice for greater stability and precision.
The ST goes so far with the CVO that in the end it leaves its mark.
Is such a powerful engine, the biggest and most demonic in the range, really reasonable? The CVO Street Glide ST offers 8 riding modes to answer that question. These include "Track" and "Track+" in addition to "Road," "Rain," "Sport," and three customizable "Custom" options. All of these modes affect traction control, engine braking, and acceleration levels, but the "Track" modes disable linked braking and reduce the level of ABS intervention. Other electronic aids include rear wheel torque management and tire pressure monitoring.

On a more recreational note, the large 312 mm Skyline screen offers navigation, smartphone control, radio, 500 watts of sound (125 per speaker) and electroencephalograms of on-board signals. But will any of that matter, or even be noticeable, when the engine propels you from one sensation to the next with a stretch never before seen on a Grand American Touring car?
