presentation of the 1584 DYNA SUPER GLIDE CUSTOM FXDC 2011
at Harley, access to large-displacement motorcycles is via the Dyna range. The Super Glide is certainly the machine most willing to let you discover the beats of the big Twin Cam. The Custom version is all about chrome and style. Spoked rims, a single front brake disc, a low seat height, a devastating mouth - what more could you want? Initiator of the "factory custom" movement, the Dyna Super Glide Custom isn't really a factory custom, but rather a big 1584 cm3 Sportster, with plenty of torque and vibrations contained by the silent-blocks (the 96 Cubic Inches are flexibly mounted in the double steel cradle). You can have a bit of fun with this Dyna, but not too much, as average braking and lateral friction are natural sedatives to too much enthusiasm. A pity. Since 2006, the machine has been fitted with a wider rear tire (160) with a 17" wheel, a larger-diameter fork and, in 2007, a new Fat Bob-type fuel tank. With a price tag of under 15,000 euros, the Super Glide Custom is one of the most affordable "big Harleys", but certainly not the least interesting.

Exceptional on secondary roads. It roars out of corners. Great sensations.
Agile and quick.
Drives with ease from the first kilometers.
For all and sundry, it is from November 2011 -16500kms Excellent condition HD maintenance. Rating : 5/5 Respond to BrunoVendee
This Harley isn't ideal for freeway cruising, but like a 4x4, it manages 130km/h without flinching...and even respects the manufacturer's speed limit!
It's not really at home in town either, but it's still a great, well-balanced machine. When it comes to secondary roads, this seems to be ITS playground, with good acceleration and braking that's a little off if you use too much throttle, but PERFECT for a slightly rough ride
When it comes to touring for the 3rd age, it knows how to command respect for its image and flashiness... it's a HARLEY first and foremost, not a pale imitation.
This is my third HD, and it's perfect for my 50th birthday

at HD Limoges (they're top-notch). I've got a windscreen, a sissy bar and leatherette panniers
leatherette panniers, all supplied with the bike and I have to admit, it gives it quite a look
a great bike to start with HARLEY; that's my case
i'm also aiming for a 2010 Softail Heritage, not the new one, which I don't think is as good; that's how I feel about it; I'd recommend it to first-time Harley owners, and also to women, who'll find it ideal
a motorcycle yes, but a motorcycle for life; caution and pleasure in HD
sincerely

I used to ride a suz, but this is something else, and without this nonsense, people are turning around and it's a pleasure. It's great to drive a legend
