presentation of the VRSCF 1250 V-Rod Muscle 2012
with the V-Rod 1ere du nom, Harley fans received a double uppercut. Milwaukee's first power cruiser abandoned traditional motorization for a liquid-cooled, 4 valves per cylinder engine (developed by Porsche, please). That was the emotional part. Then there was the huge power contained in the twin, which was the second slap in the face. 2009 saw the arrival of the MUSCLE version to finish the job. A variation on the VRSC hot-rod, cut from metal with bits of rage in the design. From both front and side, it's a visual bludgeon.
more squared-off, more muscular, the "Meusseule" becomes the most aggressive of the V-Rod range (with the exception of the Destroyer, a dragster not suitable for road use). Its 1250 cm3 engine, 123 hp, huge 240 mm rear tire and massive air intake gills invite Mad Max-like behavior without the sweetener. Bestial, long, bad girl, the Muscle also plays the equipment, finish and wink card. The frame fades into the background, while the upside-down forks, twin exhaust pipes, imposing twin and 2-tone 5-spoke rims come to the fore. Some of the details are flattering, such as the electrical wiring hidden in the handlebars, the turn signals inlaid in the mirror arms, or the LED rear light remarkably well integrated into the shortened mudguard. Less visible yet useful, ABS and an anti-dribble clutch are fitted as standard. With its low seat height (640 mm WHERE MotoId = 3498), the V-Rod Muscle is no queen of courtesy, even with a new saddle to wedge your posterior. With footrests set almost level with the steering column, the rider will feel the pinch under acceleration; the potato will pass through the back after having messed up the arms. Since 2011, the Muscle has been shod with Michelin Scorcher tires. If you're not sure whether to go for the spirit or the look, maybe Marisa Miller can help you see the new attributes(see photo gallery ->).
the 2012 VRSC range celebrates 10 years of V-ROD. As a result, all models featuring the twin Revolution, and therefore this Muscle too, carry commemorative "10th Anniversary" badges.

I'm surprised by some of the specifications in the comparison: top speed, for example. It says 200 max, but I can do it without forcing it. The only thing preventing me from pulling more is the wind, which pulls a little too hard at this speed and above. But I've got a good feeling that there's still room for improvement
The same goes for the torque. Rating : 4/5 Respond to Marcopodo

I'm not a Harley specialist, but like most motorcycles, you should be able to run on SP95 and SP98.
Regarding stages 1 and 2, I've never understood anything, sorry.
Bonne route en HD. Rating : 5/5 Participate in the conversation
For range, I reckon around 250-260 km before the reserve, with a good rev climb in the first 3 gears.
Incomparable looks and nickelle finish, everything is massive on this bike: it catches the eye everywhere I go. On the other hand, the underside of the seat could have been better finished, even if it's only visible when you go to the petrol pump.
Another drawback due to French regulations: we're strongly tempted to install a Stage 1 to avoid lawnmower noise and let the engine breathe better.
Can't wait for the end of winter! Rating : 5/5 Respond to Vrscfman
