Motorcycle specifications Harley-Davidson1690 SOFTAIL HERITAGE CLASSIC FLSTC 2015 En route to America
presentation of the 1690 SOFTAIL HERITAGE CLASSIC FLSTC 2015
in the Softail range, this Heritage is the one best suited to cutting kilometers. In addition to its typically Harley plasticity, the large windshield (which can be easily removed with a flick of the wrist) and its handsome leather saddlebags with studded trim are also very appealing. Derived from the Fat Boy, it's not surprising to find a strong resemblance. The Heritage has a number of good arguments for taking bikers along Route 66 without a care in the world. First and foremost is the Twin Cam 103 B, a 1690 cm3 twin with balance shaft and rigid frame mounting. This big block, formerly the privilege of the Electra Glide Ultra Limited, adds a few extra ponies and a nice slice of torque in excess of 13 mkg. Its 130 nm peak is reached at 3,000 rpm. Compared to other Softails, it claims slightly less torque, but its max peaks at a lower rpm.
the installation of a balancer shaft has significantly reduced vibration - the claw of Milwaukee engines. Purists will cringe, but that's the only reproach (and still) that can be made. This engine is even more generous in terms of torque and presence, and is sure to please both cruisers and pleasure riders alike. The other thing that sets this bike apart is its comfort. A good seat, low and welcoming, better shock absorbers, we appreciate it. Braking is also very good, thanks to 4-piston calipers and the addition of ABS as standard from 2011. By 2015, the Moco has increased the willingness and capacity of the system. The front disc is enlarged from 292 to 300 mm. The caliper and master cylinder are redesigned, with the latter also benefiting from a performance-enhancing design. The high-friction pad material reduces lever effort by almost half. Harley claims 40% less for optimal braking. The perfect way to discover a taste of America.

A delight, easy to move on mountain roads, very maneuverable, I was scraping at every turn
But this year I fitted 2 x 2cm foot spacers and it attacks much better, scraping from time to time, but you tend to go looking for it.
Climbing in stage 1
A good pair even with 2 and a load
3500km in Italy this summer.
300km between fill-ups, so no regrets, I love it.
A very good tourer.
Bonne route

Since then, it's been nothing but happiness. 60000km driven all over Europe and France, and still nothing to complain about.
i would have appreciated the cruise control, now standard, but I don't need it.
For me, it's the Harley - the look, the comfort, the feel of the handlebars.
In short, I can't put it down Rating : 5/5 Respond to Road2Hells
Too bad it scrapes so quickly.
Advantage: all sizes can ride it. Rating : 4/5 Respond to nires
