Motorcycle specifications Harley-DavidsonCVO 1920 Road Glide Limited FLTRKSE 2022 Crossing and immersing yourself in the U.S.

It 's a yacht! ... It's a brig! ... It's huge! What am I saying, it's huge? .... It's the height of luxury. As is the case with CVO models. By joining this prestigious club, the Road Glide Limited becomes a long-haul vehicle of enormous stature. Superb, enormous, as long as an ocean liner, this ample tourer is a total immersion in 1st-class travel.
And yet , the Road Glide Limited is already one hell of a machine. Almost overwhelming, with an aplomb in the face of kilometers worthy of an American sedan. But thanks to the Custom Vehicle Operations department, it's getting richer in accessories, finish, engine and comfort.
CVOs present themselves with a certain majesty. Often, as here, with colors of appreciable magnificence. American refinement is expressed here, and not tired, with the presence of aircraft carriers and details that the eye appreciates. Like the heated grips, selector and exhaust tips, running boards and brake pedal trim from the Kahuna collection. Or the Tomahawk wheels; or the sound system developed by Rockford Fosgate; right down to its typically Harley loading capacity. A large top-case with extra luggage rack to accommodate the trip's cargo, accompanied by suitcases that are singularly frugal given the machine's size. 25 liters per hold... enough for two heavy sweaters and a bottle of water. Don't even think about packing a helmet, except for a bicycle helmet.
A CVO also means enjoying Harley's biggest twin, the Milwaukee Eight 117 ci. Not to mention the Stage IV update to 131 ci / 2146 cm3. The heart of this Road Glide Limited is a slice of torque as thick as lard, with 16.9 mkg of torque at just 3,500 rpm. That's a little less than the strength of the CVO Road Glide and Street Glide sisters (17.2 mkg), but the Limited offers 2 more horsepower. The ranch is equipped with 105 horses at a top speed of 5,450 rpm.
To achieve this, the M8 boasts 1923 cm3 of displacement, a single high-performance camshaft, 4 valves per cylinder, a Heavy Breather air filter, partial liquid cooling and high-flow exhausts. A touch of refinement is added with colored stripes on the rocker arms and cylinder head covers.
- Enhanced Electronic Cornering Brakes (C-ELB)
- Enhanced cornering ABS (C-ABS)
- Enhanced traction control with steering modes (C-TCS)
- Cornering Residual Torque Control (DSCS)
- Vehicle Hold Control (VHC)
- Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
Too bad the Daymaker headlights aren't adaptive when cornering, as on the CVO Street Glide. Considering the sick price asked, it's petty. A Tracer 9 GT, three times less expensive, offers them as standard.
With the CVO Road Glide Limited, its luxury and its huge engine, you're doing a little more than riding a grand apanage motorcycle. You're appropriating a piece of America, of Hollywood Boulevard, of Nevada's immense roads and Las Vegas' mirrors. Almost a cult object.... That's what it takes to pay the big bucks for his property. At the end of the shipment, does she get anything?
