Motorcycle specifications HondaMonkey 125 2025 Mon pote !!!

Honda' s little "monkey" has lived up to its name. A real little devil, agile, funny, able to weave in and out of everything, three apples high and always in a good mood. The kind of bike you'd want to stash in your rucksack for use anywhere at a moment's notice.
In fact, in 1970, 10 years after its creation, the Monkey was fitted with a removable fork so it could be stowed away in the boot of your car.
40 years later, it has lost none of its "fun touch". However, it was fed up with its engine. So naturally, he teased his 125 Grom buddy to borrow his more modern mill. He gained more than he expected.
His engine is more "long-stroke" than before. This generally translates into better torque. It won't be obvious, given the small difference in power, but the effort will help validate the Euro5 switchover. OK, the 125 Monkey isn't very powerful, with its 9.4 hp and 11 Nm. But that's not the most important thing for a millstone sniffing surfboards and paddock aisles.
The arrival of this mill allows the Monkey to gain a 5th gear. This will take some of the load off the piston when venturing onto rolling terrain. For the record, the Monkey had only 3 gears in its early days. The fourth arrived after the passage into the new century.
Honda is renowned for its reliability. Look at it: the wheels are only 12 inches, it weighs just 104 kilos (3 less thanbefore), there's chrome everywhere, you could almost get it under a table, the seat is as thick as a panettone and is almost twice the size of the fuel tank. How much benzine can you fit inside? 5.6 liters, no more. Just a third of the capacity carried by most motorcycles. But as the mill claims to consume only one and a half liters per 100 km, thirst will not strike for another 300 kilometers.
The Monkey 125 retains most of its chassis (single-beam steel frame, inverted fork, 220 mm and 190 mm disc brakes, minimum wheelbase of 1145 mm - 10 mm less than before), with the added bonus of new progressive dampers and a slight increase in ground clearance (175 mm vs. 160 mm). On the electronics side, there's digital instrumentation, PGM-FI fuel injection, LED lighting, ABS supervised by an IMU inertial unit - with rear-wheel load-shedding control - and an ignition-key-activated headlight flashing function; handy for finding the wheel in a parking lot.
