presentation of the GB 350 S 2026

By (finally) bringing its GB 350 S to the European market, Honda is offering a true Classic motorcycle in its range. The brand has rarely had great success with this kind of retro machine - the CB 1100 EX / RS didn't catch on, despite their real qualities and great finish; the CB 750 Seven Fifty had a long career, but no real relief. In short, Honda didn't do as well as Triumph with its Bonneville.

But it's very different with the GB 350. The bike has been around for several years in India, where it has been a great success ever since it first appeared as the CB 350 H'ness. We had to wait until 2025 to see it arrive, with its Japanese name and the adorable face of a sweet old bike.

Except that this wasn't a dilapidated granny built on old plans that Honda had refreshed. The GB 350 S was a complete novelty when it came out, and is again for us. It takes its inspiration from the GB 400 / 500 of the '80s, the kind of café-racers that paid homage to the English single-cylinder sports bikes of the belle époque. With its perfectly vintage design, its sense of simplicity, its playful and obvious approach to motorcycling pleasure, the Honda is instantly appealing. The fork gussets and red stitching on the seat add that extra touch of charm.

It's a beautiful engine, it's a beautiful story....

The engine also plays a big part in this effect. A true old-school single, set up almost vertically, with machined cooling fins. It's not exuberant, majestic or shy: it's just beautiful, naturally beautiful. Ideally, the lambda sensor a few centimetres from the cylinder head should be removed to enhance visual interest.
We'd like to get our noses close enough to smell the fuel and tickle the carburetor. But no, this 348 cm3 is an engine with modern solutions (PGM-FI injection, internal oil spray optimization valve, HSTC torque control, anti-dribble assisted clutch) and others that are much more "old school" (1 ACT, 2 valves, long-stroke architecture, air cooling, low compression ratio). Add to this a heavy flywheel and you get an engine that wants to pulse its character rather than push its power.

Which is relatively limited. With this kind of powertrain, watts are never very violent. The block delivers 21 horsepower at 5,500 rpm. As the BG 350 S weighs 178 kg ready to ride, it's like having the potato of an improved 125. However, the greater torque - 3.1 mkg at 3,000 rpm - should provide a fuller response. This bike's styling and engine show that it's a cool ride with a healthy dose of elegance and weathered discretion. On the other hand, there's no need to think about overtaking in a hurry. This is the exact opposite of a 390 Duke or MT-03.

Honda GB350S

The chassis is based on the same principle of simplicity. With a steel frame with central beam and single cradle, a 41 mm fork, two rear shock absorbers, no suspension adjustment, braking provided by a 310 mm front disc with 2-piston caliper and a 240 mm rear disc with single piston, a fearsome 43° steering angle and not too wide tires (110 and 150), the rider is sitting on the most obvious and simplified definition of a roadster. Like a baguette at the baker's, amidst croissants, sport bread, nut bread, gluten-free bread, chorizo bread, etc., the rider is sitting on the most obvious and simplest definition of a roadster.

So much so that you'd expect to find a good old-fashioned speedometer with a trembling needle. But it's better than that. The needle is there, but cohabits with a digital display for the gear engaged, the fuel gauge and some other information. The GB 350 S is also seduced by a circular headlight (vintage) with multiple stages of LEDs (not vintage), LED indicators with ESS "emergency brake signal" function and automatic stop, and of course the obligatory ABS.

Honda favors it

we like this machine. The French market isn't really fond of this kind of bike with this displacement, but we welcome this kind of jovial incursion, as with the Meguro S1.
Honda has decided to give the GB 350 S a real chance, with a low price of 4,599 euros, the price of a 125. In the same bracket, we find a Royal-Enfield 350 Meteor (as if by chance) or a Benelli 400 Imperiale.

French johny speed Model 2025
Hello everyone, if you don't mind, I'm an old biker, 71 years old, who's been on the top bikes, cb 450, cb 750 four, 1000 cbx, 1300 kawa, and I'm going to tell you about the gb 350 s that I bought in March 2025. Beautiful bike, exceptional value for money, insane handling, good tires, great steering angle, convincing braking, not brutal, but good in the rain.
The noise when you pick it up is bewitching, and yes, it's a long runner, torque, torque, down low of course, good pick-up up to 90km/h, the engine requires you to stay in 3 or 4 gears, fourth gear can go up to 130 km/h, before the breaker, fifth gear is good for downhill with the wind at your back, or flat without wind.

Of course, it's a Honda, and everything on board is perfect, although the suspension is a little stiff, as is the seat, but there's nothing wrong with that. The only major fault is the front fender, which is far too short, so it's hard on the engine and the legs.

Received on August 7th at the trail 70 dealership, ordered on April 2nd... It's been a long time coming ;) very pretty bike with its optional windscreen and its Nardo grey color, for sure, it's not a thunderbolt BUT on small roads, it's great! Its speed goes without problem to all the limits, 90, 110 (after I'm still breaking it in, so molo :) the acceleration is quite energetic overall at low revs, the lighting is very pretty with LEDs The exhaust noise is super nice! Well-built, top-quality finish! 6-year warranty, camel fuel consumption...I've had my motorcycle license for 20 years now, and I chose this one because of the current economic climate, with gas and insurance prices, hidden bruises everywhere, and the price of motorcycles which have become anything but... And if you want to ride to your limits and enjoy yourself, that's more than enough! (Even with a mile, you have to go 50 in town and 90 on a country road, so ...) I hope my opinion helps you, but you can go for it, great bike! Greetings biker! Rating : 5/5
French Marc Aurèle Model 2025
I have had this bike since May 2025, extremely hard seat, 5th gear difficult to use (too long), top speed 120 on the speedometer or 115 real (be sure to anticipate overtaking on fast lanes), real fuel consumption rather 2.7/2.8 l. Very nice bike even if some welds look like a Chinese bike from 10 years ago (not nickel). This bike is actually a big 125, not more, to be used for rides on secondary roads avoiding climbs, unless you like to play with the shifter ... Rating : 3/5

For your information, after running in and 1250 kms on the odometer, I pushed it to 40 mph on Saturday between Millevaches and Meymac (connoisseurs of concentrates will appreciate this) and I wasn't at full throttle yet. The engine is gradually releasing, which is why it's important not to rush it. When I read the tests on new presentation bikes, it makes me wonder when you push them to the max... Well, that's just my opinion, so feel free to think otherwise. Happy riding. Rating : 5/5

Hello, I'm going to try to be objective, I love neo-retro and I've loved Honda for a long time, I'm currently riding a Triumph T 100 since 2007, a Royal Enfield 350 Classic, two 350 CBs from 1971 and 1972, and a K2 four-wheeler from 1972. Today I'm not looking for power, so a 350 is the ideal bike for short rides around town, but today the Japanese and Honda are off the mark, they haven't understood a thing. If we want retro motorcycles, we're going to have to avoid stick rims, add a little more chrome and real colors, because this is really sad, a real mudguard, because we're on a modern bike. I think this is a bike that's not going to sell very well, the old-timers are going to turn to RE 350 classics, to small Kawasakis.Honestly, Honda is going to have to react quickly with real retro bikes, not just more modern ones that aren't really retro. If I liked Honda, of course I've never sold my 1990 VFR, it's still in my garage. Honda is going to have to get a move on, because right now they've missed the boat. Rating : 2/5

This bike would be perfect for me with an extra 15 hp. 21 hp is too restrictive, or else it's a work-sleep bike. Too bad, because otherwise it's a real success Rating : 3/5
French Philippe Model 2025
It's been in the garage for two weeks now, halfway through the running-in period, and I've fitted it with a luggage rack, two faux-leather sporfabric panniers and a 35-liter top case. It's the grey one, with windscreen and hand guard, USB socket to plug in the GPS when I'm lost on the Millevaches plateau... where I drag my wheels. I've given up on spoked wheels, a real Honda color (red or orange) and real chrome mudguards. On the other hand, it makes me 45 years younger (a 500 SR in 1979) to ride it, even when I'm breaking it in. Happy trails to you all. Rating : 5/5
I put this bike through its paces for 2 hours on national roads and small curvy roads. It's impressively easy to handle, very agile and responsive. Admittedly, it lacks a little power, but it's perfect for this kind of road, for cruising and overtaking when you need to. The 2 faults I can see: the seat is very stiff, and the handlebar position I find a little low, but that's probably due to my height (1m79).
In terms of looks, it's obviously very attractive, though I'm a little disappointed by the plastic extension of the seat and some of the details, which are a little too modern.
But all in all, given its price, it makes me want to buy it once I've got the A2 in my pocket!

Attracted at first sight by the photos and information published on this bike with a retro spirit that reminds me of my childhood. I live near Belfort and after a bit of research and a bit of luck, I was able to try it out at the Aumiot dealer in Villefranche sur Saone, who had a demo model in grey. I set off for a nice test ride in the "Beaulolais" and was blown away by this wonderful bike. Top-quality finish, really nice stitching on the seat, front mudguard materials, nice 15-liter tank (good range to be expected), very good dynamic quality: subdued comfort, dynamic pleasure: easy steering, not too heavy, easy to place on the corner, no liveliness, sound chassis, good turning radius. Powerful, effective front and rear braking. Good ground clearance. Nice engine color. Pleasant, restful driving position. Torquey engine at the bottom and limited power, but sufficient for the touring spirit I'm looking for. Brake and clutch controls: just right, with levers that are pleasant to grip. I've just ordered the bike from my local dealer (Trail 70 Vesoul), with delivery scheduled for early October. It's a shame I wasn't able to buy the Villefranche demo bike, but you can't be too selfish and think of others: "to try it is to adopt it". Thanks again to the very friendly Villefranche sur Saone dealer and to Pierre Alexandre. Rating : 5/5
Test opinion
French tietienne Model 2025
I rode this bike for an hour, and found it to be quite similar to a Triumph street twin 900, all things considered. I was quite impressed by the bike's pleasant handling, thanks to a subtle blend of engine character, vibration and noise, combined with a very decent chassis and braking system. I still had a Honda super cub 125 in my possession not long ago, and the engine character was quite similar (4-speed gearbox, long stroke, fairly low torque) and not far from being sufficient on the secondary network; so here, 30 Nm at 3000 rpm, it's royal... :) I say this knowing that this is an engine that's best considered as a 4-speed gearbox, with a 5th gear only when there's no need to drive while loading the engine (low power obliges), but sincerely, I can't wait to receive it at the beginning of September, and can see myself going on road trips and even long journeys, as I find it amply sufficient to do everything with. Of course, if you're a fan of the thrill of acceleration, you may be disappointed. As far as I'm concerned, I'm a relaxed rider, and this bike fits in well with this state of mind, and even maintains it. I therefore recommend that you give it a try, as you're likely to be pleasantly surprised, if you're not looking for a bike with sporty handling. I hope you'll enjoy it ✌️ Rating : 5/5

I note 3 small annoying details: - The size of the rear tire (12O/13O would have been more than enough) - The black wheels with spokes (aluminum wheels with radius more aesthetic that mark less when passing the locks, among others) and finally - 5-speed gearbox, a 6th would have been more appropriate for the overdrive Rating : 4/5

Bought for daily use and cool rides, much better than the previous 125. Very nice engine, pleasant sound of the mono which fizzes a little; very good road holding; excellent quality/price ratio. On the downside: a very hard seat and a 5th gear with 21 hp that's a bit too long; even when riding very lightly, the fuel consumption is 2.8 l/100, not at all the 2.5 l as advertised. I don't regret this purchase, and in any case I've kept a Triumph 1200 S Thruxton for riding with horsepower! Rating : 4/5

Hello, I received the keys to my Honda GB 350 S on June 13, 2025, equipped with the travel pack, crash bar and additional lights. I'm 1m69 tall and I put my 2 toes on the ground. it's easy to get the hang of, very pleasant with torque, and I'm enjoying riding it. to overtake when you're following at 80 km/h, it's not easy, so anticipate well! I've had much more powerful motorcycles, but today I'm looking for the pleasure of riding without trying to get carried away, and for the moment I'm happy.
I wish you all a safe and enjoyable ride

i've just had a look at this GB350S, which has just arrived at the dealership. It's a very nice machine, looks like a "big" motorcycle and is very attractive! I just think it's a shame that the colors are a bit "sad"! My son, who's currently taking his driving test, has fallen for this bike. Rating : 4/5
The big advantage is the 370's 120 kg dry weight, which must make it around 130 kg in running order, a difference of almost 50 kg, which makes you wonder where Honda put them on its gb. Still, this 350 single-purpose long-runner is very nice. Rating : 4/5

Hello vintage motorcycle enthusiasts, this GB 350 looks really nice on paper. It remains to be seen whether it's pleasant to ride and relatively comfortable. It's true that it's a bit heavy for the engine's power. As another reader said, the very matt black muffler isn't pretty, and the 2025s roadster-style number plate holder is spotty and should be replaced by a real 70s-style mudguard. Claude Rating : 4/5
At last, a real motorcycle that lets you rediscover the pleasure of riding without getting into trouble or scaring yourself. A rounder rear fender would have been more in keeping with the spirit of this long-stroke single. If the advertised price really is what you can afford, this will be my next bike... Rating : 4/5

I think this magnificent bike will be a commercial success. Some will say that it only makes 21 hp and that its weight is excessive, but the truth is that this bike, thanks to its ergonomics, looks very maneuverable. I've got a Royal Enfield hunter 350 and I can assure you that the kilos aren't noticeable even though they're there, not enough power? it depends what for, some people prefer big bikes with lots of horsepower and lots of electronics and use them to go out and buy bread. The truth is, there's no such thing as a bad bike, it all depends on what you're using it for. This type of bike is made for riding quietly, for riding and being good citizens, using them for a weekend and riding on back roads where the important thing is to ride for the pleasure of riding, to feel the wind in your face and not the speed. The best features are not in its power, nor in its minimalist and almost basic electronics, but in its torque of 30 nm/meter and the delivery of the same at only 3000 rpm to be a long-stroke engine, (in my 27nm hunter at 4000, I can assure you that on mountain roads you have a pleasure to ride at 90 km / h.).), And the most important thing that almost nobody mentions, its low compression ratio (9.5:1), which is identical to that of the J1 engines in the Royal Enfied 350s. This makes these engines very durable with little wear and few breakdowns. The engineers have done their job well, perhaps with the long-life, non-combustible sr 250, 400 and 500 in mind, with lower compression ratios closer to those of these engines. In short, for people like me who already have grey hair, this Honda is a mechanical gem for its mechanical features, and if you know what you're buying you can enjoy it. Finally, I'd like to say that it's not all about speed, you have to know how to ride at 100 km/h and you can enjoy yourself. Best wishes to all motorcyclists. Rating : 5/5

21 horsepower (or 15.4 kW, you'll have to get used to it), that's the price we have to pay for compliance with anti-pollution standards. More horsepower = 4 valves, liquid cooling. We're getting off track. My Suzuki SP370 (1979) makes 27 hp for less weight, so in the end it's right on target! Rating : 4/5

Nice, but 21 is a bit short. 24 or 25 with oil cooler would have been even better. Rating : 3/5

Hello Very nice bike. I've been looking forward to importing this bike for a year. I was waiting for it to be presented at Eicma 2023. 21 horsepower is a bit low... But when you buy it, you're aware of all that. But it's a Honda and comes with a five-year warranty for 4,500 euros. I ordered it 2 days after it was presented at Eicma 2024. I already own a 1971 Honda CL350 (scrambler sold only in the USA), so I've come full circle 50 years later. Rating : 5/5

Belle idée
French Yvan Dutoche Model 2025
Hello, I think this bike is very pretty and I really like its lines. On the other hand, I think there's a real demand for "small" bikes that are light, fuel-efficient and inexpensive to insure. Rating : 5/5
Un poids limité oui, si peu de cv non

It's always a pleasure to see beautiful motorcycles arrive, without bulldog, Nina or beetle heads... But so little hp for a 350cm3, no. In 1976, a single 125 honda made 14hp and...120kg! In 1976, a single 125 honda made 14hp and...120kg! What we're waiting for are nice, light bikes with at least the minimum A2 hp, i.e. 47hp. We're also looking for bikes weighing less than 200kg/90hp and with a reasonable seat height, between 790 and 830mm. Rating : 3/5

Hello, I've been looking for a second, retro, economical motorcycle (radar and petrol are getting expensive) for 2-3 years, and I saw that this gb 35 s was coming out, with a long-stroke engine, basta, I must be the first to have ordered it from Honda France, in black (the most beautiful). It will be the companion of my black cb Honda 1100 rs, also in the same style, but with 3 more cylinders, and 80 hp more. According to the tests, it would be given a high max, and well launched for a small 150 meter, personally I would say a good 130 km / h chrono. Good road to all, and know that happiness with 2 wheels, is not necessarily in the speed, but in the sensations, even with 21 hp, you can have fun, in small winding roads, torque, torque, especially with a long stroke and a big internal steering wheel. This bike doesn't even cost the price of a 125 scooter, and what panache to go and get your baguette. A 500 version would be great :)) Rating : 5/5
