presentation of the CB 1000 R Sunset 2019
England celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of the Honda CB 750 Four with the CB 1100 RS 5four special series. A fine piece of work not to be missed. France joins the festivities with its own limited series. Here's the CB 1000 R SUNSET, built on a CB 1000 R+ base, with a dark, technicolor side that makes this roadster more menacing.
the CB 750 arrived in 1969, setting off THE motorcycling tidal wave across the globe. 50 years later, Honda France entrusted the "nous" concept store with the task of developing something fun for the occasion. The result is the Sunset, though more oriented towards the 80s than the Seventies.
Black and unruffled, the big Neo Sports Café roadster adds a touch of acidic nostalgia with its color-banded tank. The Honda logo is that of another era, when the Joe BAR Team scoured the roads.

An appropriate sound to announce the presence of the 1000 must make itself known. The SC Project muffler can only be heard by approaching the eye or starting the 145 hp 4-cylinder engine. On this deceptively dark machine, the color is not simply black. Different shades are applied:
- Sunset paint for the fuel tank, scoops, front mudguard, backsplash, windscreen and side panels;
- Black epoxy paint for the swingarm, handlebars and end pieces, fork tees, handlebar mounts, brake and clutch levers, headlight surround, foot plates and foot rests;
- Black ceramic paint for the exhaust system, SC Project silencer and Puig Grand Tracker mirrors.
the price has been set at just under 17 plates. For a nostalgic breath of fresh air that's either unmistakable or explosive. With the care to fuel the debate to raise the comparison with the mythical CB 750.
