presentation of the W 800 Edition Speciale 2012
a very nice neo-retro machine, the W 800 is also available in a Special Edition livery.
Hold on, slow down, we're not getting carried away. No special equipment, inverted forks or racing parts, just a new color scheme. But this one is particularly well suited to the descendant of the W1 and W 650. A deep, black color that extends right down to the engine and turns matte on the exhausts. Only the chrome parts and wheels escape the dark cloak. The spoked wheels are beautifully gilded. A few details complete the charm, such as the gold-colored piping on the fuel tank, the two-lion badge on the tank, the highlighted bevel gear, the polished cylinder head fins...
this color is available for 300 euros more than the standard W 800 in green and gray. After that, all that's left to do is stroll along to the playful rhythm of the parallel-twin's 48 horsepower. No sport, no brutality, no angst, just charm and a bit of fun.
