presentation of the Vulcan 900 Light Tourer 2016
although the youngest of Akashi's custom bikes, the Vulcan 900 can't help but want to play on the road like its big brother. Its twin may be half the displacement, but it too has decided to set off on an expedition. The big 1700 Nomad has chosen a course of action: cruising in style, without encroaching on the extravagance of the Voyager liner; the 900 wants to do the same, but with a lighter touch. With the right package, it becomes a Vulcan 900 Light Tourer. With its sissy bar and additional set of lights, it almost looks like a mini-road king. A large windscreen and two 15-liter leather suitcases are also available for travel.
the VN 900 Light Tourer is priced at under 10,000 euros, more than 6,000 euros less than the Vulcan 1700 Nomad, the latter embodying a certain philosophy of light travel. As for the engine, the difference is an abyss: some twenty horsepower and nearly 5 mkg in favor of the big Vulcan. In short, while one gently pulls you along for the ride, the other powerfully pushes you towards cruising.

rust bag! Rating : 1/5 Respond to toutoute
The only hitch: an extremely alarmist fuel gauge (the light comes on at 150km, whereas the machine has a real range of 260kms!).
In this category of motorcycle, I give it a good 16/20 for its overall handling, with lines reminiscent of the vn 1700. Rating : 4/5 Respond to Alexfromtlse
