presentation of the 1200 CORSARO VELOCE 2012
two years of absence and the Corsaro Veloce is back. A spicy version of Morini's already ballsy roadster, the Veloce returns with virtually the same arguments: a boiling-hot 140 hp twin topped by a fiery character, a very vindictive look, and all the improvements that set it apart from the standard Corsaro. These included a more adjustable Marzocchi fork, gold-series Brembo brakes, repositioned footrests and shortened shifter travel. Brake and clutch master cylinders are radial. Only two things really set this phoenix apart: the first is symbolic, as half a kg less torque won't make much difference. The other is a compelling argument: the price of this muscular roadster has plummeted below 11,000 euros. For the record, it used to sell for just 14,500 euros.
How could Morini have dropped the price so much? Part of the explanation lies in the less noble equipment: the Öhlins amorto has been replaced by a Sachs, and the Termignoni mufflers have disappeared. We can console ourselves with the wide range of colors offered by the manufacturer when ordering the Corsaro (beware, the bill swells quite quickly). With 15 colors for the bodywork, 5 for the frame and 4 for the engine, the Corsaro Veloce offers 300 different combinations. The only criticism is that it doesn't offer electronic assistants, either as standard or as an option. But do they really belong here?

But I noticed a few differences between your article and the motomorinimotorcycle site, and between the old véloce and the new one: the amortos are sachs (and no longer ohlins), no more termignoni (probably the airbox and all that goes with it) from the old véloce.
Hence the price difference.
Nevertheless, it's a great bike.
