presentation of the STELVIO 1200 8V 2011

guzzi is determined to establish its Stelvio in the trail segment, and is giving it a little grooming for 2011. Nothing extraordinary, just a few cosmetic touches that go virtually unnoticed. The front end is a tad more aggressive, rider protection is enhanced by a new bubble, and there are superb new multi-spoke rims and a new muffler - but it's above all the enormous fuel tank capacity that catches our eye: the Stelvio's 18-liter tank is now 32 liters. At last, the Stelvio's roadster range can be transformed into a traveler's range.

without touching its 8-valve engine, Guzzi has modified its behavior to make the trail bike smoother and more enjoyable. A new electronic system reduces power and torque, but makes the bike more available. As the chassis is not particularly critical, Mandello has only revised the fork springs, lightened the brake discs and installed the same rear tire on the standard Stelvio as on the NTX, a 150 / 70 - 17. Weight is down by 2 kgs, the dashboard has been slightly redesigned and new colors continue to set the Stelvio apart.

This bike is fantastic.
Spanish Rodri Model 2016
Since they redesigned the whole model in 2011, it's been absolutely wonderful, very reliable and flawless. Rating : 5/5
French Silence Model 2012
Very very satisfied with this bike. I acquired it in 2017 with 20,000 kms, I changed the exhaust right away (Mistral WITH DB, the aim being to save weight i.e. - 7kgs on the original and a slightly raspier sound but approved), modified the mapping and installed CONTINENTAL TKC70 wraps. Since then, it's always a pleasure to set off for any destination. A motorcycle that's rightly enjoying a successful second-hand career. Rating : 5/5
Particulière
French ChristianD Model 2014
But in a good way. It's a machine that needs torque opposition, and cushy around town isn't its strong point. It's reliable and robust. It feels wonderfully comfortable. Chilly (requiring a long warm-up time) in the vicinity of zero degrees. Rating : 4/5
Impeccable sur route comme en ville
French Olpetit Model 2012
An excellent bike, whether on the road or in town!

Comfort that I haven't found on other big trail bikes, a shaft that's beyond reproach, and an engine that's very available at all revs.

The only complaint in town is that it's a bit hot on the knees, which can be a bit unpleasant in summer!
Rating : 4/5
French Westfalia13 Model 2012
Excellent motorcycle, great comfort in duo, it doesn't have to have any complex compared to the 1200 GS (which is still the reference), for my part, it's the first motorcycle with which we were able to cover 1300 kms in one go without any problem, its range of more than 400 km is also an argument to be taken into account Rating : 5/5
Excellent bike, very pleasant to ride, good handling despite the heavy weight, excellent comfort both solo and in duo. No worries so far, except for a small problem of fogging in the speedo, which should be taken care of under warranty. Rating : 5/5
French titi Model 2012
very good machine Rating : 5/5
French stelvio37 Model 2012
Delivery on October 4, 2011.
- received a 2010 Stelvio manual after 2 months.
- suitcases received at the end of december not the right color, since then nothing new.
- various oil seepage (gearbox, axle)
- rust on exhaust elbows.
Riding, engine and transmission without reproach, very good comfort except for the impossibility of "holding" the bike with the knees (nothing to tighten there except the intake pipes, I still have the trace of a burn from the end of October).
Was I right to give up my flat twins for a V twin?
Rating : 2/5
