Motorcycle specifications Moto-Guzzi STELVIO 1200 8V NTX 2013 New approach to the main road
presentation of the STELVIO 1200 8V NTX 2013
a small facelift gives it a more aggressive face, and while the features are essentially retained, it's virtually the entire fork head that has been changed. Only the headlights remain the same. New bubble, improved protection and, above all, a much improved range. The fuel tank has been increased by 14 liters to 32. You can easily exceed 400 km before refuelling. Among the few criticisms that could be levelled at the Italian, engine management deserved a little more roundness and availability. A new exhaust system and more efficient electronic management take care of that, offering a more pleasant, more usable twin. It loses a few horsepower and a pinch of mkg, but that's nothing to worry about, as the maximum values are obtained earlier. The chassis, already sound and pleasant, benefits from new front and rear suspension springs and lighter brake discs.
The 1200 NTX gains new luggage, a redesigned dashboard with improved fuel gauge readout, an ATC torque limiter (a kind of traction control), and 2 kg less weight. Only the ABS version is available in France.

First cleaning, the paint on the rims falls off! Pots clack when decelerating, idle doesn't hold when cold and now cylinder head problem. My Stelvio is only 1 year old and 20,000 km…The worst thing about all this is the total absence of any discussion with moto guzzi after-sales service. For the moment, nothing under warranty
Apart from all that, it's true that it works quite well

and now the flywheel
i'll skip the multiple breakdowns due to my trust in my dealer, SCHUMP village in Strasbourg, which I strongly advise against Rating : 1/5 Respond to doc
The main problem for me is the excessive vibrations
Transmitted to the handles, which tends to make the driver's hands sore
Is there a solution to reduce this problem?
Thank you Rating : 4/5 Respond to Mickelson 58
