presentation of the 1000 Brutale RS 2025

mV-Agusta's sublime TNT barrel finally becomes a little more accessible. Following on from the Oro, RR and the Rush derivative, the Brutale 1000 moves downmarket to offer its high performance to a wider clientele (but only a little). The changes are mainly to the chassis. But beware, we're still talking premium, high adrenaline injection.

with its slaughterer's price tag, the 1000 RR was bound to offer some super suspension gear. In this case, semi-active Öhlins. To keep costs down, the RS opts for another level of suspension, with a 50 mm Marzocchi inverted fork and Sachs shock absorber. All elements are adjustable in all directions, with the bonus of slow and fast compression for the rear element. You'll have to get out the tools for adjustments, as there are no servo-motors and electronic brains like on Swedish suspensions. You lose moderately in quality and efficiency, but a lot in price.

the Brutale RS is also less radical than the RR. The half-guidelines have much higher arms, allowing you to switch from a café-racer-style riding position to something much more upright, more roadster-like. The seat has also made an effort, with softer padding. The rider benefits from greater comfort, a less extreme attitude, and just as much power at hand. For while the RS may seem more indulgent, its engine has made no concessions. We're still dealing with a monster of power.

the 4-cylinder shakes. Italy in concentrate, ready to explode when the revs go wild. The boldest will dare to take the crankshaft up to 13,000 rpm. The roar of the 4 exhaust pipes melds speed, the fury of 208 hp and exploding benchmarks. A big heart is recommended, and an addiction to fury is prescribed. Those who want to get to the heart of the matter will delight in the presence of titanium connecting rods; a material also used for the 16 valves.

with 2023, a few things have changed in the engine. Above all, the addition of a new balancer shaft, reducing vibrations by half. This will significantly improve riding comfort.
Dual-density seat padding is another step in the right direction, as are refined electronic management and more responsive throttle control. The dashboard display has also been updated. All of which goes to show that the big Brutale is a fast-moving machine, with enough guts to make a one-way trip to Mars.

MV-Agusta 1000 Brutale RS fortunately, the on-board electronics prevent it from going into orbit. Unless you pull the plug. But before that, the MV-Agusta plays it safe with traction (8 levels + off) and wheeling controls managed by an FLC (Front Lift Control) platform. The ABS module is supplied by Continental, with an MK100 unit managing the Cornering function. An Öhlins steering damper calms the front axle, with electronic management. Pirelli Supercorsa SP V3 chips take care of the rest. Tires remain the only link with the road. Given the machine's potential, it's better to have asphalt tape than constantly flashing electronics.

after safety comes all the content to enhance life on board and the pleasure of high-tech riding. You'll find all the classic features, including an Up&Down shifter, Launch Control, cruise control, a large 5.5-inch TFT color display with Bluetooth, GPS, phone mirror function, smartphone settings and MV Ride app. The tire pressure monitoring system remains optional.

apart from the suspension, MV-Agusta has left the frame and brakes untouched. There's no question of lowering the standards in these vital areas. When this beast is launched at full throttle, you need something strong to calm it down. Brembo Stylema calipers know how to do the job. Enough to bring the 320 mm discs to their knees. The rear will be more spared, but quite useful for traj' corrections, making use of its 220 mm disc and 2-piston jaw. In addition to ABS, the brakes also feature an RLM anti-stoppie function.
The main architecture is, as usual, made up of a tubular steel structure mounted on aluminum plates.

the Brutale 1000 RS also lowers its price with less elaborate paintwork.
By going down a step in terms of luxury, the MV-Agusta Brutale 1000 RS loses some of its nobility. But the price difference between the Duchess and the Countess is striking: almost 7,000 euros. And without a scratch on the incomparable design of this hyper-roadster

French Lucio Model 2023
I've had one since last summer, the brutale 1000 RS model from 2023. It's an exclusive bike, and above all, hyper-reactive in every way... dangerous at times, and not to be put in every hand, but I love it so much... Rating : 5/5
Moto exceptionnelle abordable en prix
French Baroudeur Model 2023
Magnificent motorcycle, the price becomes more affordable for an exceptional motorcycle assembled entirely by hand. The chassis makes for a very precise ride. Maybe a little worse than on an RR, but on the road you don't notice the difference. Rating : 5/5
Plaisir
French Zebulon Model 2022
After trying it out, I'm won over. Statically, it's superb, the sound of the engine is magical, no need to change the exhaust... The riding position is comfortable and the protection far superior to many roadsters. On a playful road, the moment is magical Rating : 5/5
French Bobi Model 2022
Magnificent !!;but inaccessible for most bikers ! The price ! Rating : 4/5
