presentation of the F4 750 AGOSTINI 2004

This is how the story of the F4 AGO begins. Giacomo Agostini is more than just a driver. A legend has grown up around him and his 15 world championship titles, 14 of which he won with the MV team. With this specific F4, the Schiranna factory wanted to pay tribute to this emblematic champion. Today, the MV-AGUSTA acronym appears in gold letters in the minds of motorcyclists. Yellow stickers bearing the coveted No. 1 were affixed to the fairing sides of the already magnificent 750. The rear hull was adorned with a simple, elegant decoration in the colors of Italy. Limited to 500 examples, the beauty would have taken care of its owner's honor. It was announced that each customer would be entitled to have his or her name and motorcycle serial number engraved on an 18-carat gold plate.

closely derived from the SPR, this F4 developed over 140 hp, but certain details set it apart from the Ago version. The 50 mm-diameter Marzocchi inverted forks were treated with titanium nitride. The Sachs rear shock absorber was double-adjustable in compression. Forged, lightened rims with a distinctive design were by Marchesini. And carbon was found in every corner: the front mudguard, the forced-air intake ducts, the side panels protecting the airbox... And to top it all off, the saddle was a real eye-catcher. Still as thick as a slice of breadcrumbs, it was covered in magnificent red alcantara.
What could have motivated MV-Agusta to design such a machine? Surely, to create an exceptional motorcycle for an exceptional man. But from creation to series production, the hazards remain. How many F4 750 Agostinis were produced? With the exception of the model presented to the press, it's impossible to find any trace of this machine on the market. It was the 1000 that took up the mantle of glory, with identical styling and far more horsepower in the boiler.
