Motorcycle specifications MV-Agusta800 DRAGSTER RC 2017 Roadster Corsé

presentation of the 800 DRAGSTER RC 2017
in the MV-Agusta family, I'm asking for... a virulent machine, with a clear desire for adventure and a volcanic temperament. You bet! And we pull out the MV-Agusta 800 Dragster RC. Well, not the standard or the RR?! No, there's a new one in the catalog. The Schiranna factory continues to expand its range of models bearing the Reparto Corse crest. Following on from the F3 675 / 800 RC and the F4 1000 RC, it's now the Dragster's turn to get a competition-style makeover.
this bubbling special series is based on the 800 Drasgter RR. In other words, the meanest version, with a 3-cylinder engine spitting out 140 hp. The deco smells of gunpowder, and with good reason: it's a mimicry of the Supersport bikes raced in the World Championship by Jules Cluzel and Lorenzo Zaneti. Between the layers of red and combat, MV-Agusta highlighted the 37 that symbolizes the brand - its number of world championship titles. This number has not changed since 1974.
to mark this special series, the manufacturer has added a few carbon parts, such as the speedo cap, front mudguard and radiator deflectors. It's a shame to lose the superb spoked wheels, replaced by forged rims. The Marzocchi fork has lost its red anodizing, but remains fully adjustable. So is the shock absorber. The hoof, discreet on the RR, decides to be more garish, featuring a whole list of sponsors. For the seat, a superb two-tone saddle combines leather and stitching.
Like the RR, the Dragster 800 RC is loaded with electronics, including MVICS 2.0 management. It includes Ride-By-Wire, 8-level traction control, 4 riding modes working with engine management, traction control, throttle sensitivity, engine braking, torque curve, etc... Three are pre-programmed according to specific profiles (Sport, Normal, Rain) and one is completely user-configurable. The Quickshifter EAS 2.0 allows you to upshift and downshift without touching the clutch. The sporty chassis is still based on a tubular steel trellis frame connected to attractive aluminum plates, Brembo 4-piston radial brakes on 320 mm discs, a planed rear end, superb exhaust pipes and a large 200 m rear tire.
it seems that MV-Agusta has decided to create a whole RC sibling, including the 800 Dragster RR. To underline the model's exclusivity, only 350 units will be produced. At a reindexed price that's hard to justify. But with an MV, who cares - it's the passion that speaks.
