It no longer even bothers to create new special series, instead subtly embellishing the previous ones. The brilliance is there, with a panache shrouded in conjecture. The superb, tasty 800 Brutale RR has no sooner emerged from a drawer than it has been decorated in America, with the scent of home across the Atlantic. The eye is flattered by the same graphics of last year's Brutale America (without the RR), previously used by the 750 S of 2005, taken from the mirific dress of the S America 750 of 1975.

under Uncle Sam's shawl, the mechanics have turned spicy. Here, we're treated to 140 hp and a more polished finish. The 800 Brutale RR America not only looks the part, but also features a red stitched seat, an 'America Special Edition' label on the radiator scoops and a star-spangled banner with MV-Agusta's world titles (the counter is still on the number 37).
On the technical side, we find the specific features of the 800 RR, served up with gusto: a raging 3-cylinder engine packed with electronics, a chassis sharing a steel trellis frame / aluminum plates, an inverted forke Marzocchi 43 mm inverted fork and Sachs shock absorber (adjustable from all sides), a single-sided swingarm, fine Brembo brakes, a singular triple exhaust tailpipe and an intoxicating character.
The dish is beautiful, the food tasty, but obviously without much creative effort.
