Motorcycle specifications MV-AgustaF4 1000 RC 2019 She smells like Superbike

Like Ducati, MV-Agusta maintains a very fine line between its production sports bikes and its competition machines. At Schiranna, one of the F4s is just waiting for a few screwdrivers to turn it into a Superbike: the RC. The brand's top of the range, this sublime machine is keeping the fantasy alive for 2019 with a few tweaks. Absolute F4 1000 Reparto Corse?! Not far off in any case.
Cut like a sprinter, sharp and lively from every angle, the F4 RC continues to honor MV-Agusta's sporting tradition. The deco is still modelled on that of the machine entered in WSBK, with Jordi Torres during the 2018 season. A little updating is in order, with a reworked deco in black and updated sponsors. The pride and joy of the brand is the race number: a symbolic 37, the number of world championship titles won by the brand... a long time ago.
The 4-cylinder engine delights thrill-seekers. With 205 hp, the Italian block remains one of the most powerful production engines. One of the special features of the RC edition is a performance-enhancing kit. Once installed, power rises by 7 horses to a terrifying 212 hp.
All channeled by powerful on-board electronics. Of course, the rider can enjoy a fine dose of parameterization, especially in User mode, the most customizable of the 4 maps. The ELDOR platform lets you fine-tune throttle sensitivity (*), engine behavior (*), maximum torque, engine braking level (*), breaker (*), and 8-level traction control. The other modes, Normal - Sport - Rain, simplify settings with their own programs. A multi-axis inertial platform optimizes the operation of the guard bank. Lightning-fast shifting is controlled by the EAS 2.0 shifter, active both up and down the gears.
(*) choice of Normal, Rain or Sport.
Braking is among the most formidable on the market. A fine Brembo array of brakes, enough to knock out a jet tank. The 320 mm front discs are fitted with radial-mount monobloc 'GP' calipers. The action is controlled by a radial pump and the monitoring of a Bosch 9+ ABS acting on the rear wheel lift control. The rear wheel is fitted with a 210 mm disc and a Nissin 4-piston caliper.
This F4's bodywork makes extensive use of carbon. This saves weight and enhances the high-end appearance of the machine. The RC is as proud of its image as it is of its plastic, and even boasts two different weights depending on the type of output. In road mode, it weighs in at 183 kilos dry. But once you've installed the special parts and the desire for the track, the weight drops to 175 kgs.
And where are the parts? In a beautiful wooden box containing dozens of components, including the complete SC Project line in titanium, a specific ECU box, lightened screws and bolts, other carbon parts, a seat cover and other racing components.
A protective cover and certificate of authenticity accompany this exclusive bike. A fine tool for the few wealthy enthusiasts who will break the piggy bank. Or for those who couldn't afford the F4 Claudio cousin. 250 units of this stunning Italian model are expected to be produced (to be confirmed).
