That's a pretty headline to entice you to find out more, and then it's a good idea to encourage you to read more than just the headline and the gleaming advertisements. Because while new Tiger models are on the way in the Triumph range, they are not new models, but special series of existing models.

For 2026, the English brand is offering 900 and 1200 Tiger models in Alpine and Desert versions. Specific decals, enriched equipment and a price adjusted without being too greedy (so to speak) distinguish these versions from their original models.

The Alpine Edition is based on the GT Pro. The Tiger 900 is available in Snowdonia White and Sapphire Black with Aegean Blue accents, while the Tiger 1200 is offered in two colors: Satin Crystal White and Matt Metallic Grey, with Caspian Blue accents or Ash Grey with Intense Orange.

Heralded as dune-battlers, Desert Edition models are based on Rally Pro models, and their styling highlights the Tiger's off-road capabilities. The Tiger 900 Desert Edition is available in Urban Grey and Sapphire Black, with bold accents in Baja Orange. The Tiger 1200 Desert Edition is available in two unique colors: Satin Granite and Triumph Performance Yellow or Crystal White and Red.

For the first time on a Triumph adventure bike, an Akrapovic muffler will be fitted as standard on the Alpine and Desert editions of the Tiger 900. The Alpine edition also features engine protection bars, while the Desert edition benefits from fuel tank protection bars for added off-road protection.

The Tiger 1200 special editions have been upgraded with heated saddles for rider and passenger, blind spot assistance and lane change assistance, now included as standard for the first time on Triumph's big-bore models.
