presentation of the SRK 800 RS 2026
Chinese brands are no longer hiding their appetite for competition. QJ Motor is taking a keen interest in World SuperSport and has decided to send its SRK into the fray. Since the RR version is too tame, a spiced-up variant is hitting the market: the SRK 800 RS. A sharper machine, with a good dose of extra horsepower—and more.
It seems like only a small step from RR to RS. Only a more aggressive look sets the two sisters apart (at first glance). The lines remain taut, the rear is compact, and the look is fierce. It’s not ugly—in fact, it’s quite nice—but its design isn’t exactly thrilling. The spoilers are still there, more for style than for efficiency. However, the styling and cosmetic touches aren’t the main concern. What interests us is what’s going on under the hood.
30% more power
More muscle, more pronounced. Previously very A2-like and well-behaved with its 95 horsepower, the 4-cylinder gains 27 horsepower under the RS label. A nice improvement, achieved through lighter pistons, reinforced connecting rods, more aggressive camshafts, a few other optimizations, a new muffler, and higher engine RPM. The SRK 800 no longer reaches its maximum power at 10,000 rpm but at 12,000 rpm. More roar and 122 horsepower at the wheel. Things are starting to look good for the Supersport class. But in terms of performance, for an 800cc bike, it’s still not enough to turn the tables—the CBR 600 RR and ZX-6R deliver the same punch with 600cc.
But the SRK isn’t banking everything on the engine. It understands that the chassis needs to be tuned properly. As early as 2025, the 800 RR had replaced its steel frame with an aluminum one. The RS model presented here goes a step further with a much sturdier reinforced swingarm, a new fork with larger tubes (43 mm vs. 41 mm), a new rear shock absorber, and the addition of a steering damper. The suspension components come from Marzocchi and are adjustable in virtually every aspect.

The SRK 800 RS thus shifts toward more serious sport riding, and yet... It features some curious choices: it offers the rider adjustable footpegs and components with a strong track-oriented feel, yet it’s shod with sport-touring tires—Pirelli Angel GTs. These are the same tires found on bikes like the Ducati Multistrada and Yamaha Tracer 9.
Proven Performance
The RS’s dashboard features a new screen, retaining the 5-inch size. The bike’s electronic features meet today’s expectations for a Chinese model (we’ve gotten used to it by now) with traction control (disengageable), an Up&Down shifter, three riding modes (Sport / Standard / Rain), cruise control, disengageable ABS, Bluetooth, a USB port, and an emergency signal light that activates automatically during hard braking (ESS).
The QJ Motor RS has managed to shed a little weight: 212 kg fully fueled, while the RR tips the scales at 214 kg. There’s still a ways to go, as the category generally hovers below 200 kg.
But China is progressing fast—very fast. Most of the country’s manufacturers have entered the mid-displacement market in recent years; and a ZXMOTO 820 RR already weighs in at 193 kg.

The RS costs only 400 euros more than the RR. Given the higher level of power and equipment, there’s no need to hesitate for a second between the two. Except for A2 riders.
The final price remains below the psychological barrier of 10,000 euros. A still-compelling selling point for a motorcycle that’s starting to show its teeth.
