presentation of the Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts Drop 2026
Shotgun seems to have a sense of frivolity. Its beginnings already predisposed it to this type of character. The public first got to know it in the Motoverse special edition, even before the production version arrived. It's only a short step from there to saying it's ready for the Jet-Set.... In any case, Royal-Enfield takes great care of it, as evidenced by this Rough Crafts limited series.
In the hands of the Taiwanese tuner, the 650 Shotgun goes Dark, but not into the shadows. On the contrary: its combination of gold and satin-finish night depths gives it a very classy cachet. Winston Yeh, founder of Rough Crafts, loves this dark and revealing atmosphere.
The bike's aim is to be noble: the crest on the tank is in solid hand-cast brass, the seat is in quilted leather, the piping running the length of the silhouette is made of gold leaf, and there are a few extra features that set it apart from the standard Shotgun: a special treatment for the alloy rims, mirrors at the end of the handlebars, and a gold treatment for the fork tubes.
It's a great look for the bobber of the family, powered by the 648 cm3 twin. An old-fashioned engine with air cooling, beautiful multi-finned cylinder heads, a modest 47 hp and an unadorned life. No riding modes, traction control or kickstand assistant. It's a bike that takes its time to live, not at all like a Japanese production bike. What's more, with 240 kg of custom weight, you don't bounce, you roll.

Rarity or ethereality?
Royal-Enfield produces just under a million motorcycles a year - and will only make 100 units of this Shotgun Rough Crafts, each accompanied by an artistic print signed by the preparation workshop. A hundred or so foxes of the night to be shared between Europe, North America, India and the Asia-Pacific region, according to a special selection process. In short, we should see around fifteen of them on the old continent.
