presentation of the GSX-S 1000 Power Edition 2022
The Germans don't mess around with names. The proof is in the form of a special GSX-S 1000 series christened "Power Edition". It's enough to make you think that Suz' big roadster is going to break your neck in no time. But there's no need for panic or over-enthusiasm; sportiness is emphasized rather than exacerbated. A drive that seeks a guttural ode beyond the Rhine.
You' ll recall that the engine on this machine is nothing less than a reworked GSX-R 1000 block.... The Akrapovic aerophonics system gives it more presence. A little grunt, a dose of growl, a kilo less than the original and up to 3.5 horsepower more.
So much for the "Power" side of things. Now let's see what Suzuki Deutschland has added to enhance the style. From one end to the other, it's all accessories from its catalog: a seat cover, protectors for the tank and wheel axles, a mini windscreen, and aluminum handlebar ends.
150 units of the Suzuki GSX-S 1000 Power Edition will be produced, in the three colors available for the current model year.
