presentation of the 1050 Tiger SE 2012

since the Tiger first took to the road in 1994, Hinckley's trail bike has never concealed its fiery temperament.rament, to the point of slipping into borderline sporty attitudes in its latest 1050 version - just to tease the Ducati Multistrada, Benelli Tre-K and Moto-Morini GranPasso a little.

however, the Tiger has not forgotten its road-going aspirations, especially in this SE version. It comes standard with a set of Triumph side panniers (44-liter capacity), handguards and ABS. Of course, the same minor facelift applied to the standard 1050 Tiger is also applied to the SE.

so you can travel a little further with the best companion of all: its spirited, bewitching 3-cylinder engine. A 20-liter fuel tank for road-holding and a sporty chassis for unrestrained fun when the going gets rough. It has to be said that, with its aluminum perimeter frame, inverted fork with radial brake caliperswith its aluminum perimeter frame, inverted fork with radial brake triers and Daytona-style swingarm, the new-generation Tiger has a supermotard feel to it. 2012 marks a change on the technical side. To take efficiency up a notch, the 43 mm inverted fork has been modified from the inside: oil volume has been changed, and the compression valve and piston have been modified. The evolution is even more marked for the rear shock: harder spring (+29%), modified compression and rebound valves, modified spring preload and modified positioning of the various settings.
The Tiger SE was to be produced in limited quantities only. In the end, it will be continued in 2010, 2011 and 2012, with more colors.

French volanta Model 2009
nothing to complain about, apart from the awful lighting and battery life in cold weather Rating : 4/5
French Model 2012
i've got the 2008 model, and it's true that the rear shock absorber is too soft, and as for fuel consumption, it's impossible to go below 6.5L in cushy mode, so it's more often close to 7 or even 7.5L

top speed: well, at 217 I cut out :o) track not long enough and there was still some under the handle lol (chock mode removed)
comfort remains limited, too bad the seat is really hard ...
Rating : 3/5
French pedro Model 2009
Very nice motorcycle, no apparent faults, except for an unworthy seat for the passenger: must be changed. Talented engine, incisive chassis Rating : 5/5
