Touring

cruising in a Rocket III Touring is a bit like enjoying an enormous steak in an English saloon. The ambience is refined, the décor patinated, the comforts omnipresent with plenty of cachet, and the meat overflows from the dish with a majestic melt-in-the-mouth texture. With its 2.3-liter 3-cylinder engine, the British cruiser outshines all its rivals in terms of power. Imagine an enormous velvet hand lifting you to the top of its 21 mkg of torque, and the typical 3-legged bbrrrooouuiiiiiiiiiiiit.

while the Roadster version decided in 2013 to be more rebellious, the Touring declination leans towards more devotion. The rider's seat is fitted with dual-density foam, while the passenger's is made of gel, a notable plus for long trips. A quick-fit sissy-bar completes the crew's pampering.
Other modifications are more technical: new engine protection bars and a new deco with hand-painted fillets.
Already present on previous vintages, we appreciate the windshield that can be removed without tools, the 36-liter suitcases with quick-fit system, the emphasis on chrome and the natural presence of the machine.

You never try to dominate a monster like that
I think the Rocket 3 surpasses anything you can imagine

And forgives no mistakes
But it's pure pleasure

Missing reverse gear Rating : 4/5
I dream about it, but what's the average fuel consumption when driving smoothly? Is the passenger really well treated? How good is the damping on rough roads?
Thank you very much

I've had an RIII Touring for a year now.8000kms of pleasure rides...and what a pleasure!
I've just tried a Harley Road King, a superb bike by the way, but I had the impression that it was seriously out of juice
I can confirm that the TRIII Touring is a great bike, but you have to be careful at low speeds, as it's a bit engaging at the front
Excellent braking, but here again, be careful on wet roads! Don't forget the beast's 350kg, and over 400kg with passenger + luggage
At this price, they should have fitted ABS
Pleasantly surprised by its maneuverability in town despite its size and weight...with a bit of practice of course!
Cornering is a little frustrating...you have to get used to a very smooth ride
My only regret is a very incomplete instrument panel for a machine of this price: no lap counter, no thermometer, no gear indicator..., unreliable fuel gauge...
Triumph options not included

why didn't you equip this bike with a top case worthy of the name!!!!

i've had a rockett III touring for 3 months... 8000 kms already. Spectacular bike. As nimble as a bike and feels like a real motorcycle. Phenomenal power all the time, at any speed. Downside: very heavy when stationary and no reverse. When you've been screwed once by not being able to reverse it, make sure you put it on the right side for restarting. No fatigue even after 500 km in a day. Rating : 5/5
