presentation of the 900 Street Twin Gold Line 2021

It ' s not often that the Street Twin gets a special series. In fact, I think it's the first time; this kind of delicacy is reserved for Bonnevilles. Except that the Gold Line isn't here to commemorate Steve McQueen for the umpteenth time, or to recall some of the brand's illustrious moments. No, the Street Twin has simply indulged itself with a special decoration.

The Gold Line' s matte-black color scheme brings out the golden piping that justifies its name. These are hand-painted, encircling the wheels, draping the airbox covers and refining the fuel tank. Special mention must go to the styling effect featuring knee grippers. The brand logo and motorcycle name are also embellished by sunbursts in their calligraphy.

This Gold Line edition will be produced in a limited edition of 1,000, each accompanied by a certificate of authenticity with the bike's VIN. It benefits from the recent improvements made to the standard Street Twin, namely a 65 hp engine upgraded to Euro5 compliance, new rims, a thicker seat and a few revised finishing details. No need for more, as the most accessible of Triumph Classics had already benefited from a major update in 2019.
